Oil Leak
I put my car on the lift today to fix a screw in my tire. While under the car I noticed that there was some oil film on the plastic cover. . So I pulled it off and it had a film of oil, as well as the front of the engine. Looking under the hood from above I could see the belt has been tossing the oil around a little bit so its hard to pinpoint where its coming from. It does look DRY behind the crank pulley thankfully.. from what I can see. Where could this leak be coming from?

On my car, and many others from accounts posted here, it is the breather boxes on top of the valve covers. There aren't any gaskets. You just need to remove them, clean, and replace with fresh RTV. Remove your engine cover/airbox and you should be able to see if they are leaking.

I hope it's that simple, I was a little angry/upset when I found the leak. Usually with my luck, it ends up being some cheap part burried under a bumch of hard to get to stuff. Like when I was 16, and the cam seal went on my neon. 6 dollar part, but all of the belt driven accessories had to come off, the timing belt, crank pulley, and the cam gear. I really hope its just these easy to get to "breather boxes"

Since you're noticing oil around the belt I think It's the front plug seal.

Thank you Sir'
I think I am just going to go ahead and order the seal for that pressure cap, the oil cooler, and the filter housing to block, along with a new serpentine belt, and probably new valve cover gaskets (these I know seep very slightly) My luck is that if I only order one of the above, it will be wrong lol. I think if I replace all of the above, I should be in good order again, besides a very good cleaning.

So I took her to the car wash tonight, with 3 cans of de-greaser and a roll of quarters in hand. Stunk up that bay pretty good, but got the engine bay very clean. Now I just have to wait a little to see where the new mess forms I guess.

I do believe it's the "pressure port", I let the car run for about half an hour just now, shut it off and felt around. I found fresh, very hot oil on the bottom side of that pressure port. I also noticed both of my valve covers are seeping, and both breather boxes have a bit of seepage as well.
Now, should I just do this all at once? I would do both breather boxes, both valve covers, the pressure port, the oil cooler gaskets, and the filter housing gasket, along with a new serpentine belt, an oil change, and one very intense cleaning.
