How often do you reset the Transmission in your car?
Do not unplug the battery. You will end resetting so many things.
First you turn off everything in the car.
Insert key and turn all the way prior to ignition and leave the key in the second position.
Put your foot on the accelerator and depress all the way to the floor and hold it in for 30 seconds.
Leave key in position 2 for 2 minutes and don't turn anything on nor open the door.
Some find that after depressing the accelerator for 30 seconds and turning the key back
to insert position and leaving the key in works as well.
I've tried both ways and I am only assured the Transmission is reset by my method.
It absolutely makes a driving difference.
Cheers.

i have done the other thing you described with key in ignition for 2 minutes.
this reset mod is it approved by MB tech or did a hobbyist come up with this reset mod with key in ignition for 2 minutes?
Heck of a big Manual.
These cars are geared so tall, it makes driving in town frustrating, as a car with 350+hp should never feel slow, lol.

The Sprintbooster reduces the amount of time I have to reset the trans. To all those naysayers out there about the Sprintbooster - don't bother. Yes I realize I could just be pushing the throttle pedal down more aggressively for the same effect, but I don't, and I like the Sprintbooster - makes the throttle response more like I think it should be from the factory.

and besides ... i tried this "ignition, padle thingy" once to confirm if it works as i own a star diagnosis and can check the actual adaption values. as far as i can tell not one adaption is reset by this method.
greetings, Fabian
