My recent pick up
Whats up my 210 fam!! You can find me mainly in the 202 (Amg) section. Recently picked up a 2001 E55 in brilliant silver been daily driving it for 2 months now since i sold my 2000 C230 kompressor and i loved every second of it !! so far i fixed the previous owners mess with the car. Valve covers (oem stuff only!!!), replaced the rachet blue dash bulbs with stock amber ones, removed plasti dipped grill, ornament star and mirror covers!! how can someone plasti dip the chrome on a silver 210 and the mirrors??? also fixed the the antenna gasket and replaced the rubber piece on top. did a few other minor things here and there but the car was pretty much bone stock when i picked it up besides H and R lowering springs and res delete. I had an eisenmann race (clk) muffler laying around that i had plans to put it on my 99 C43 a while ago but its not in the best health right now and its just been sitting around. i Decided to put it on the E55 and wow the sound it makes is unbelievable especially on the highway!!! M113 just loves to sing heres a pic of it parked near a Macan GTS today on the way to class and a few older pics stored on my icloud. The eisenmann fits but being that its for a clk (208) its not a 100% perfect fit. Its got typical rust belt bubbling and rust here and there but not noticeable unless you examine very close. Plan on getting this fixed during winter time.

Yeah it’s meant for a clk so it doesn’t have the same shape muffler box as a w210 eisenmann would have, would fit a lot nicer on my c43 since the mufflers are the same shape. The 210 muffler is sort of boxy and has almost a rectangle shape to it.

Yeah such a nice place to take pics on a sunny day!! Shoutout to my fellow New Yorker!! But anyway the muffler from some angles looks really bad but when you get closer it’s a little more flush. Was thinking about throwing the oem one back on or honestly just running a muffler delete. That stock muffler is huge and heavy as hell. What exhaust mods do you guys have? I know secondary cat and res delete is common. Anyone mind sharing their exhaust set up?
Honestly if you like your exhaust i would keep it and just cut off the tips and use your Original tips, on my old 55 i had a Mugnaflow muffler but kept the original tips and it looked OEM
Congrats! I loved all my 210 E55s. Even my last ‘99 which rusted on me; I swear this yr did not receive the same preventative rust treatment as the later yrs.
