Its time to sell the best car I have ever owned! My 1999 E55 AMG. I purchased the car in July 1999 from Stevens Creek MB as a new car. The E55 has been wonderful, but sadly I do not have enough garage space to keep it! I will not put it outside.

My E55 is a 1 owner always garaged rust-free California car with a freakish engine that uses no detectable oil between 6K mile oil change interval. Thats right, since new I have changed the oil every 6000 miles.

To quote another forum member "The W210 AMG is one of the best cars in the world IMHO and while rare vehicles do sell for a lot, MOST rare vehicles are not fast, tire-smoking sedans that are a true joy to drive. Comfort, style, class, power, and performance all in one package."

Issues are:
A few minor dings and scratches from life
The inside of the trunk is scratched up from where my wheelchair goes
rear bumper paint flaking a bit.
Minor curb rash on a few wheels

Extras include a $10k stereo with an Eclipse head and Zapco competition amps (has a dirty trim pot in the head unit so left channels cut out at low volume) still sounds amazing at high volume.

The car runs great and it's still very fast!

There's always that one guy that doesn't want the value to go up or/and that wouldn't pay that price so nobody should either. I'm not saying it's worth that much, but definitely not 6k-7k.

+1 I have had total 3 of them.... love W210 but they are about $7K to $10K depend mileage... at least in California LA area.

Checked Hagerty Valuation tool today. Concours 36.3k. Excellent 28k. Good 18.8k. Fair 11.8k

Not saying these are gospel but it appears the W210 E55 might be moving up.
