Do You have/know any comparision-test with E55 AMG and Subaru Impreza WRX or Lancer EVO VII/VIII ??

I know that's not the same class but maybe there is something.

 

I friend has a 05 STI with intake, intercooler, boost controller, exhaust, etc...

He is a great driver, I meet him out on road 4 years ago I was in a 98 Supra TT that I just bought 30 minutes ago he was in a tuned Mustang GT. He got me that day but after mods to Supra TT I handed ***.

Back to STi Vs. E55.

We raced from a roll and I spanked him from the start till 95mph had 6 cars on it and pulling. We slowed down and he yelled over to me " I got you off the line" I responded " I you for real it let you go then had to down shift from 2nd to first" my bad!!

I came to a stop quickly and said “make it hapn captn" He spun engine to 5000 rpms and clutch dumped it with 4 wheels spinning. I hit the gas once his car moved. I had the ESP on, no power brake just stomped on it. Traction control kicked in a bit. He put 1/2 nose on E55 then I pulled hard 1st then 2nd. He wanted more and I wanted to put an end to him thinking his STI had anything for the E55.

We went right around the next turn and there it is a long up hill left dog leg. From a roll with him 2 cars out and the move I hit it. Past STI in first then left floored till 125mph he was 20+ back.

I got to drive one similar to his STI but a 02. What a fun car to drive!!! I race a 2000 C5 w/6spd and headers, intake, chip. STI pulled it thru 4th gear. The 2002's are not true STI's but had all the upgrades from an STI. Fun fast cars. I may get one for fun in the dirt.

If You had to tell which car E55 or STI is better [considering all features] ?? Is there noticable difference in ride comfort, accelerations, handling?

One guy (in the 1st reply) explains how he says, "make it happen captain" (this must mean he's ready to race ) and I started laughing so hard! Other people at work were wondering what I was laughing at.

My friend tried to force me to believe him that Impreza WRX STi is generally better than E55. [in fact he was talking about e55 and c32/c55 vs Subaru Impreza/Mitsu. Lancer EVO]
I've tried to tell him that those cars are not comparable, but he is very mulish
In the end, he said that E-class has crappy suspension, for sure not better than impreza, adding worse handling and acceleration, no 4x4 and higher price his result was - Impreza is better.
So i asked what do You think about that.
