Was Niles driving an E55 in tonights "Frasier" finale?
Frasier's brother, Niles, left the Restaurant to get something out of what looked to be an Silver E55. I noticed smoked taillights and some emblem on the right side.
Did anyone record the show to confirm? If so, way to go Niles and NBC for sporting a Mercedes E-Class or E55.
Frazier drives a BMW 5-Series. Looks like Niles is the smarter younger brother for driving a Mercedes E-Class!

Wow! Am I the only 'Frasier' fan on this board and no one taped the show. Just trying to confirm.

I didn't see the episode but about 3 seasons ago Daphni's ex-fiance was in town and Niles was trying to bust out all his stuff because he was nervous & he said "well I have to take my car to get it serviced, its an E-class" & the other guy said thats great I have an S class. I could of swore Frasier had a 7 series and not a 5 series but I'm not a big BMW fan so I probably got it wrong.......

Rdigglerino, there was an episode where Frasier had to climb out his sunroof because his upstaris nemesis 'Cam Winston' had parked his HumVee SUV so close that Frasier could not get out of his car. The car looked like a 5-Series. Also once they drove to the mountains and Frasier was driving a 5-Series.
Niles is truly the smarter richer younger brother. Niles previously married money and Niles psychology practice begets him more income than what Frasier makes doing the radio show. I find it a very funny and witty show.

funny you should mention, yes I can confirm...
Am also a Frasier fan, have "season passes" set on all my Tivos...
Couple weeks ago I too noticed Niles get into his E class... somehow it just felt like an E55 even at quick glance...
Replayed the scene with my Tivo and did a digital frame-by-frame to confirm: Yes, Niles drives an E55
Which makes perfect sense actually -- that Niles would drive an E55 and Frasier a 5 series, haha...
"cheers,"

(trying to muster the patience to wait for the new e but might have to pull trigger on a used e55)

bushidoh,
Great! Thanks alot! I know someone had recorded that show and I knew I was not seeing things. I was positive it was an E55!
Confirmed - Niles Crane is the smarter younger brother driving an E55 while Frasier Crane is tooling around in a 530i probably.
Damn, that is amazing - a NBC show using a limited production AMG Mercedes as a sitcom prop!

it probably either:
a) belonged to one of the producers, writers, or directors
or
b) was purchased ostensibly "for production use" but off-camera will be driven around by one of the producers, writers, or directors

I actually came across this thread when googling which car Frasier drives. I have been watching the series on Netflix, and am currently on Season 6 episode 7. Several episodes ago, Niles confirms that he drives an e-class when trying to brag to a plumber.
In the episode i'm currently watching, Niles is driving some sort of ****ty hatchback for some reason, and speeds off when Frasier and his father randomly drive up next to him. As Frasier speeds to chase him, his father says "Well come on, Mr 12 cylinder german engineering!". As I am fairly certain that there is/was no 12-cylinder 5-series, I assume that he either drives a 760 or I should just use "Suspension of disbelief" and let it slide in that Frasier does not officially drive any one car in this show.

When you get the car clean out all the roof seals including those at the back edge, you’ll be surprised how much crap is in there and also check all the drains are clear. The seals can be treated with gummi phledge to restore their suppleness and integrity. The reason all this matters is that a boot leak from leaking seals can blow all sorts of expensive stuff including the PSE pump which powers all vacuum systems. Also a blown PSE pump will not allow the boot lid to close lock properly and this will then consequently stop the roof opening.
