I speak to Eisenhaus just about every week placing orders. They know i ask the same thing every time, "when is the C55 race exhaust comming out?" haha. They are still waiting on it. I hope they dont just forget about it. Everytime i speak to them they said the guys were busy working on the new SLK exhaust, and then the CLS exhaust in germany. I am starting to have bad feelings that since the C55 is kind of rare and will ONLY fit the C55, unlike a version for the new SLK or CLS can fit all models, that dont dont scrap the idea for the C55. Right now they said they will call me if they ever get it done.
I know for a fact the eisenhaus race exhaust will sound sick on the C55. It already sounds good on a CLK500, the C55 will sound way better! If i dont hear from them in about 2 months, i think i may just see about a custom exhaust and leave the stock AMG tips.

Well I did custom made exhuast on my M5 (Cats removed, X-pipe and race mufflers) the whole system was 63mm in diameter and gained 20HP...
That what Iam going to do hopefully to m E55 but will remover only one set of primary CAts or may be both? then X-pipe and will keep stock AMG mufflers...I know it will sound SICK...

Holy Sh*%
The Eisenmann Race Exhaust went on my W211 K2 today and it is unbelievable. The look and the sound is a whole lot meaner. The best part, besides the noticeable but not obnoxious rumble, is the very low end gurgles that emanate from the exhaust tips when coming down from high revs. It is soooo cool.
The exhaust tips are a little longer and wider then the stock AMG. Definitely noticeable. Almost like the car decided to take a couple of extra steroids with breakfast.
I know I am addicted to it because I keep going out to my garage just to fire it up and hear the rumble. I figure if this trend lasts more than a day I have a problem, but for now I will chalk it up to a new toy.
At this point, I don't know if the car is actually faster or if it is just the way the car sounds that makes it feel faster. The car did 590 HP on the Dyno prior to the Eisenmann mod and I am thinking that it is now around 610. Alain over at Automotive Concepts is going to do another Dyno for me and I will post the results. Also, if it falls anything short of 600 I am throwing racing fuel in the bi%ch and hitting the Dyno again for bragging rights.
The bottom line is that if someone was looking for the perfect sound for a video racing game this would be it. Great job Eisenmann. Also, thanks to Automotive Concepts who did a flawless job on the install.
