Youre first car....(sticky?)
trying to get a thread going where you can post pics of your first car. you know douches who say, "my $40,000 beat you $100,000 car in the 1/4" like that dude DIDNT do against derek is just a slam on our so-called gifted, trust fund lives. little do they most of us are just extremely hard workers, smart, or risk takers and its paid off. so even if you are a trust funder, great. lets compare and contrast our first car versus the MONSTERS we drive today.
my first car was a raging 78hp 1978 datsun 210. its anti-backfire valve was defective so if you floored it (usually all the time to actually move) then shifted youd get a horriffic backfire. it cost a whole $25. the owner said the car had a blow tranny. so when i took it home the rear drive shaft had 3 of 4 bolts missingto the rear. $3 in bolts and it drove for 2 worry free years!

I don't have a pic, but my first car was a 1991 Dodge Spirit. My first act upos purchasing the car was to cut a coil off all the way around and bolt on some eagle alloy 5-spoke 17's. Beleive it or not....the car was some hot sh*t at my high school.

so got to traderonline.com, or ebay and find a representative sample of what your car looked like. year make and model is all. my car was actually red and not the one in the pic.

OG all the way...
white w/ red interior (that isn't the original car but googled a pic that
was as close to what I was driving in high school - that's a '78 and I had a '79).

I don't think I ever took a photo of my $100 VW bug. I didn't want any evidence. But here's car #2 (an early 80's Olds diesel) as well as car 3 ('72 Bonneville pre demolition derby) and 4 ('73 Catalina post derby).
Yep, I grew up in Hicksville

My first car -- and yes, I do wish I still had it -- was a 1965 GTO, 389 with a Carter AFB. Didn't corner well, but man was it quick.
Thanks for the memories...

I drive a E55T, SLK55 and 65 Mustang Conv.
The first car I drove was my parents 1980 280zx and while I was the primary driver on that it was not really MY car. The first car I bought myself was a brand new 1985 Pulsar NX. Worked at Taco Bell, the LA Times & a now defunct health club to afford that puppy! The photo of the NX is actually a 87 but it's that same car.

plz include story!!!
this is going great, the stories are the best though. i had a steal your face sticker. the dead head grateful dead sticker on the skull with the lightning bolt through it. i didnt like them at the time so when i put it on the datsun i made a red electrical tape X through it. BIG MISTAKE. i got shouted at, flipped the bird too many times to remember and finally vandalized. note tto self, dont **** off people who drop acid every day and live in the vw vans traveling across the country.
also for graduation, high school, my brother gave me his $1000 apline system with ads amp and mtx subs. 40 times the value of my car by the way and our tunes to crank were ac/dc, shook me all night long! i can still hear those subs blasting the first 15 seconds of that song.

My first car was 1986 M-B 300E. God, I loved that car!! I got my license in '94 and even then it still had crazy 'pimp' factor. I had hooked it up with AMG (back when they weren't a factory option) 17" Chrome Monoblocks and a phat system. Good times, until some idiot pulled out in front of me coming out of a strip mall and I t-boned him. This happened in Spring of '95. I don't know what happened, but the insurance didn't total it. I got the car back almost a year later from the body shop Their excuse was that they had to wait for parts, which seemed to only come over by boat from Germany for every little piece. My parents were doing quite well with their business at the time, so while we waited for the insurance check, they bought me a new Tahoe 'Sport'.
While the new Tahoe was worth 2-3 times what the Benz was at the time, it didn't turn heads the same way. Well, that is, until I lifted it and put a monster audio system, engine mods, etc. but that's another story. :p

My first car was a 1984 VW Sciroco. It was black, all stock, 5spd and got me where I wanted to go.
My parents bought it used for me when I was 17 in 1985. I think they were both tired of me asking to borrow their car.
Sorry no pix.
