You have the Euro Speedo?? Mine only goes to 160.....does the digital speedo go unlimited...maybe that was it.
What's it feel like at 190 man.....at 145, mine felt smooth as glass, but just ran outta highway.

Why yes! I would say I can personally vouch that it does not stop at 160.... I have seen an indicated 309 KPH. In a controlled environment of course 
In the SL65 with a limiter, you will hit it fairly early in 4th gear.

Read last Auto Motor und Sport issue and Wow...they tested SL65 unlimited and it hit 338km/h..and that it approx 
209MPH....
They've tested SL55 before and unlitmited it hit if I remeber right 325km and that approx 201MPH...
So I guess E55 unlitited can break 200MPH!!!
