I am trying to bring Steve from MBBenzNL upi from SFO to put a COMMAND unit in my W211 wagon. Are there any one out there in the Vancouver/Seattle area who wishes work to be done by Steve? If so, please PM me and let me know. I will do the organizing

Hope you guys don't mind me giving some info...
If possible, we prefer to get emails from those who are interested in a Seattle / Vancouver trip. We have a list on which we put names, vehicles and requested mods, so Steve knows what parts / units he has to gather for a trip.
We will contact each interested customer BEFORE Steve flies to the US, just to see whether they are still interested in getting some mods done, and whether they will be available during the time frame Steve intends to go.
BTW, do keep in mind that we may have to ask all participants to compensate part of the travel expenses.
greetingz,
BigSis

We are trying to combine Seattle and Vancouver installs, and it may be best to do those somewhere in Seattle - so Steve doesn't have to go through Canadian customs (let's say we have had some... 'nice' experiences) AND this way we will avoid import taxes because possible goods don't have to get shipped across the border.

flaw had the same idea as I had regarding location...

So far I've decided on the the EURO Command, and Power Folding Mirrors. I have issues crossing the border, so going to the USA is outta my books.

yep its me, canada customs is a ****** fuc$er!!!! I'll never go to BC again it screwed up my whole trip last time! 2.5 hrs in the frign line to get in!!! you could stay at the double tree sorta by the airport (south center mall seattle)its only like $125 per night but its pretty ok. there all suites. pretty good price for what you get. has covered parking and a flatparking lot to do installs?? Let me put it this way. A friend of mine got caught smoking a doobie 20 years ago, got arrested. Ever since then, he's tried crossing to USA about 4 years ago and got denied due to what had happen then. They told him that if he ever tries again, without a pardon-that they will seize his vehicle and throw him into detention. This story has no relevants to my bording crossing issues, but it's what they do and they are very strict. They are even worst now since 9-11.
