It is the test base for the BMW answer to the MB R Class. Due for introduction in 2008. I think they have a way to go before MB gets panicky over the competition...

With the demise of the military grade G-class, I heard BMW saw an opportunity. Looks like Bangle's on it already! I must admit, I personally like this new design direction much better than the "flame surfacing"

I believe was given the go ahead by that Clown CEO Panke for the next X 5/6
design. A side benefit = protect Bangles from the stone throwers upset with his fugly designs !!!
