*** Teaser: CCW 19x10 w/295/30/19 ***

Well... John (CCW) did it. Got a 295/30/19 tire to fit on a 19x10 wheel and everything is tucked nicely under the fender well..

I have all 4, but I only mounted the rear because I wanted to test fit it. I took it off and put the stock one back on. The tires are almost bald so I need to order some new meat..

vrus...what are the offsets and wheel weight? I looked at their site and I like their SP18 wheel they are selling. Are you keeping the mirror polish finish or do they offer a custom color (say gunmetal?)?

Nice wheels...

BUT 19 wheels with 295 tyres will affect performance, cause overall diameter of the wheels is increased...

AMGFan: Sorry.. I am not sure of the offsets.. The weight of the wheels are 21lbs front and 24lbs rear (I am not 100% sure, but I think these # are accurate). You can get them in different finishes. I left them in plain polish for now.. I will probably get them coated over the winter for next season.

M5Rus: The 295/30/19 is only 0.3" taller than stock which is not much.

No fender rolling? Also, in the pics, the car seems to be raised up. Any rubbing or close to rubbing in lowered mode?

medici78,

No fender rolling. The car looks a little high because I took that pic right after I removed the jack from under the car. The suspension didnt lower itself fully. I actually drove it around my street and was yanking the wheel left to right to see if there was any rubbing but didn't hear anything.

When it is in its lowest setting, you can barely get 1 finger in between the wheel and fender so my car is pretty low. Since the 295 fit completely under the fender, I may go lower now.

ricky,

Just do it. You know you want a set!!

Victor: How long did it take to ship and what were the duty fees including taxes? Please post pics as soon as you can. I really at the bottem end of trying to figure out if I truly should go with the SP500's or the SP505 but the 505's look too much like stock with the twin spokes and HRE look. How did the lips turn out? how many inches up front and how many inches in the rears? I should of called you when I was in Toronto last week, but then again you probably didn't receive the wheels yet.

Houston,

I have all 4 wheels at the house. The lip is 2.5" on the rear.. I think the fronts are pretty close to that or the same. I remember John saying the 9" and 10" wheels end out at close to the same lip.

The wheels are super light compared to the stockers. It takes John 3 or 4 days to make the wheels and get them ready for shipping. Since they are made in the USA, there was only $95 of DUTIES Thanks to NAFTA for that....

I'll PM you my # if you want to call and chat about them...

Wow!!! Just got my new Michelin PS2 295/30/19 mounted on the 19x10.. These suckers are almost 1" wider than the Pirelli 295/30/19 I used to test fit. Remarkably, these tires and wheels fit PERFECTLY in the rear of the car with NO RUBBING. The amount of rubber back there is awesome!

I am going to give the car a cleanup and then post some pics of the new shoes. I am still waiting for my 255 fronts to come in so I'm running half stock/half CCW right now. Hopefully they'll be here by mid next week and then I can put my CCW fronts on the car.

More to come...

Stop teasing us you dirty *******!!! Post ONLY when you have pics!! :p
Maybe its for the best. Seeing them would force me to buy a set. My wife would kill me if I bought rims before we finished remodeling our kitchen.

I scuffed the edge of my rear right. Darn. I guess I'll just have to replace all the wheels and tires too!

Great choice. I bet your lateral Gs will go out of site.

Do the wheels accomodate TPMS? One other thing, pardon the ignorance but what do CCW stand for? PM me if it's forbidden info.

Sorry.. I couldn't resist.

Tell you what... I'll order a set of the wheels for you on my credit card. You can send me over some cash... That way your wife will never find out.. You can just tell her it was a gift from some stranger on MBWorld.

VetLuver,

If you scuffed a wheel, hell, you should order a new set right away. You can't be driving around with scuffed wheels on the beast.

I dont think these will accommodate TPMS.. They are a reverse lip design so I dont think it will work.

Mmmmm..... Meat!

(Weather hasn't been cooperating so I rinsed down the rear real quick and snapped some pics).. Final pics to follow once fronts are on.

I also have flat center caps without logo coming.. I think it will look cleaner with the flat caps.
