Got your email Victor... The car looks awesome! They look sweeeeet on the car. You are the first W211 E55 to have the CCW Sp500
It'll be around 6-9 days til mine comes but I need to know today if I'll stick with the SP500 or SP505A.
With the drop everything fills in just perfect. next set should be 265/35/19 fronts and 305/30/19 . They definately look like they would fit.
edit: I thought you had the euro impact strips. The debadged sleeper looks clean. Good stuff
They look sweet on the ferrari and corvettes too.

Beowulf,
Thanks! Alot of people that have seen the car in person can't believe how wide the rear tires are. I love the look and was hoping John could pull it off. I am quite happy to say the least.
Houston,
Yup. I am the first W211 to have this setup. Because I was the "guinea pig" there were issues that we had to deal with to get the setup perfect but working with a company like CCW makes the experience painless. The turn-around time and customer service at CCW is top notch.
Every time I had an issue John would just say "What can I do?". I would make a request and it would get done. No muss, no fuss.
Re: Euro Impact Strips: Yup. I have them.. They are still sitting in the box I received them in.
One day I'll get around to installing them.. I haven't bought the tool to remove them yet.
I really believe I could get 265 in the front and 305 in the rear.. Only problem is 305 should really be mounted on a 10.5" wheel.. I dont think you would get a better contact patch if you put them on a 10" wheel so I think I am going to stick with this setup.
Ricky,
You are too kind.
OzE55,
Thanks!

Yup. They are high polished. They have such a luster to them that some people do confuse it with chrome.

I really wanted 10.5 in the rear but I wasnt sure if 10" was going to fit perfectly so doing 10.5 was not a good idea. I have a feeling that 10.5" rim will end up right at the edge of the fender where the 10" is tucked nicely inside the fender.
Childish///AMG,
Thank you! Much appreciated.

I am interested in adding 19x 8.5 front and 19 x 10 back how would it look on my car? would I need to lower or not. and if I do not lower would it rub.
Or is there another rim which would look better on my car.

Personally, I think the SP500 on a white car would look incredible. They are a very high luster, polished aluminum. You could do the exact setup that I have 19x9 & 19x10 with 255 & 295 tires.
You are a bit confused about the lowering.. The LOWER you make the car the more chances of rubbing. If you keep your car at the stock height you will never rub. You can go as low as I did and still not rub. Mine dropped just over 1" front & rear.
Give John @ CCW a call and speak with him. He will explain everything and you can see from the results I got that you will get a quality product.
Good luck!

Guy's this is the set I would like for my car these are HRE 945R and they would be 20x 8.5 - 20 x 10 but I am finding out information on lowering because here in Puerto Rico is hard to get a good job on lowering.

IMO, 20s are too big. It doesn't leave much room for your sidewall and with the roads in PR, you will need some cushion

Stick with 19s!
