Flat AMG hood badge - opinion?
I test fitted my flat AMG hood badge on the car this AM. Not sure if I like it. The stocker's back on there now until I can get some trim/molding tape to secure the flat one.
I'll run it for a while (once I get the tape) and see if it grows on me. I'm not a fan of the big star that comes from the factory, but I'm not sure if this is the final solution either

Sorry...too fruity for me. I have flat badge with the MB wreaths...it's ok. I like the Wald flat hood emblem that a member has on here, though.

Yes, I think it is. Here is a pic from the Affalterbach website -

Maybe get the grill too like M5KILR, I think it goes hand in hand with the flat hood emblem.

AMG Badge
I've got one like yours, but I like this one better. It has raised lettering and enamel paint. It comes in 1 7/8" and 2 1/4" - this one is 1 7/8" and fits perfectly in the depression that is there after you remove the oem emblem. I used 3M two-sided tape to secure it (it could be ripped off easily, but these are bootleg emblems and don't come with the mounting post / screw / bolt).
By the way, you have GOT to get a new grille! Just my opinion.
