Are people still paying MSRP for E55?

Hi, I'm new to board. I have an 05 C55 and I'm looking to upgrade to 06 E55. Are people still paying MSRP for new 06 E55, or are discounts (if so, how much)usually available? Thanks for input.

Discounts on E55s are absolutely available but I would say the amount depends on the MSRP (and therefore discountable margin), whether it is in-stock or ordered, and the competitveness of your region's market (more dealers, bigger discount). Where do you live?

He's not a traitor cause it is still in the family of MB AMG cars. Now if he went and traded his AMG for an M Series BMW, that would be consider a traitor. Although, Ms are still nice cars.

I live in southwest Oklahoma, nearest to Oklahoma City, but only 3 hours from Dallas. Awhile back I saw on internet a dealer in Denver offering 3000 off MSRP. Is that common, or did they likely have a car sitting around too long?

I just got an 06 for which I paid MSRP. Could have gotten 2-3k off an 05 already in stock, but a new ordered 06 will likely be MSRP at the start of the model year.

I wouldn't buy a 2005 model unless you get at least $5K off. I did extremely well when negotiating the deal on my car using that as a bargaining point. If you tell the dealer he'll have to blow you away to get you to purchase that "old" 2005 -- and then stick to your guns -- I'd be willing to bet you'll get that $5K discount...

'06 E55
I got $2500 off my '06, but I have purchased quite a few cars from the dealership. Discounts are out there, just stick to your number until they are willing to meet it.
