Hey Guys... Just thought I would share some news I just received.

Looks like I might get some magazine coverage on the build-up of the beast. We talked to 3 mags so far and 1 of them has sent us a letter of intent. The other 2 haven't responded yet. I was told a 3 to 4 page layout if it becomes a feature article. I forwarded them a bunch of pics and some of the specs and dyno charts I have collected so far.

This is getting exciting.. If I can get a little sponsorship here and there I might be able to go into some areas I wouldn't have before...

Now, if only I could secure the $15,000 to build those SLR top mount intercoolers...

One of the guys I am working with (who has also become a friend) on the buildup of my car has the magazine connections. We contacted European Magazine, Performance Auto & Sound, Modified Mag (or Modified Luxury Mag.. cant remember exact name)..

Since I have the letter of intent I guess it's ok for me to say that Performance Auto & Sound is the one that has agreed to move forward with us so far. (http://www.pasmag.com ).

He is also trying to get us into the MB magazine called "Star" which you guys probably receive every couple of months...

I'll just keep documenting the build-up and passing the info along.. I will be creating a quick website on one of my servers to hold all this info..

Any good webmasters on here willing to donate a little bit of time and create a nice placeholder for me to collect all this car stuff for the E55?

I am trying... Called and got a quote for $1400 to rent the track for the day. Trying to gather up 9 or 10 guys and head up there for a day of heads-up racing.

Don't want to just go and drive 3+hrs roundtrip just to make a couple of passes on a test & tune night...

Believe me.. No one wants to see it run down the 1/4 more than me.

Modified Mag is a Japanese tuner magaine.
Their sub-mag is Modfied Luxury and Exotics. I like it because it focuses on our kinda cars

Keep us updated. I'd love to help you advertise your car in a webpage thing, but my skills are sub-par.
