Im curious to what you think about 1000whp supras and skylines?
you know the person that droped 60k into that car could buy or prolly has an MB right?
and you think a e36 M3 is ugly? ok grow up...that car looks bad *** all the way back from 93...maybe you should do a search and see what cars looked like back in 93-99 the e36 time line

I also respect anything with wheels, but there's just something about m3 or (BMW) enthusiasts, their heads are probably just as big as those srt4 drivers
. I recently raced a slightly moded m3 from right around a 45 roll. and just pulled him like nothing. I drive a 2005 VW Jetta with a basic bolt on turbo upgrade. I drive a fast car but it would never come across my mind to even try to mess wit an e55 or a cls55 or any 55..lol

p.s oh yea this is the face the m3 driver gave me as i was pulling away from his 45+ thousand $ car
. I recently raced a slightly moded m3 from right around a 45 roll. and just pulled him like nothing. I drive a 2005 VW Jetta with a basic bolt on turbo upgrade. I drive a fast car but it would never come across my mind to even try to mess wit an e55 or a cls55 or any 55..lolThis is the beast!

no offense man, I have no clue where you came from (like a lot of people that have been posting on this thread), and I think your car is pretty nice and I don't doubt it's fast... but aren't Jetta's stereotyped as typical sorority girls' cars? I don't think bright red with red wheels helps either...
like most of the M3 owners and people that are posting, I'd rather have my M3 (as for the price try adding $22k more to the $45k figure for mine), than a Jetta or Neon... er SRT-4.
I'm sure your car will walk away from mine, but like the others have said, it's one thing to compare modded vs. unmodded... hell, even civics can be made to go fast, it's not that much of a biggie.
but yes, like you, I'll slow down if I see a 55, no way in hell I'm coming close to one, maybe for fun, but a serious race, you got to be kidding, hell no.

Youd be suprised on how these engines are taking the power.There was a kid that ran well over 600 rwhp on his engine without opening it up.He finally bent a rod around 670whp.
from the dyno vid it looks like a full interior 328 and even still has the badge on the back lol.
just stay away from ct area if your looking for a BMW race...thats where all the high powered 700+whp BMWs get built.
I know a guy with a ballz out supercharged e36 M3 that is up to 430 whp but is like a honda civic compaired to the ICS M3s
that yellow one in the vid broke well over 1000 whp and was in a mag article where the author said "this isnt just a dyno queen we actually went to the grocery store and put stuff in the trunk with It.was also on stock 17s M3 wheels...A complete sleeper

We are all getting a little off track I think. This is an old topic about the e46 supercharged M3's. Everyone has a story of some other car with more power. Let's all take a pill for our ADHD and stay on topic. I'm including myself in this.

Derrick, I know alot of BMW's in the area and I have also been looking to run them as well (friendly runs). Most of them dont want to play but I know a turbo E36 M3 (2500lbs), a s/c E36 M3, a few M5's, and a few s/c E46 M3's. I'll let you know if any of them would like to do a few friendly runs. I actually ran into one last week and asked if he would like to run and he said i'd eat him for lunch. Anyways, next track day (in the spring) i'll invite a bunch of the BMW guys out to play. Ulysses has been wanting to come for a while but his car was usually in the shop when we had the track. I'll also get Malcolm and some of the cars Malcolm worked on to come too. Plus the p car guys. And you're not stock Derrick! 
Track days this year are going to be alot of fun!

No interior, 2 corbeau a4 seats, sparco steering wheel sparco harneses neuspeed suspension, 19x8 dpk, boser hood, gt28rs turbo upgrade full 3.5 inch turbo back, s4 maf, 680cc injectors, vf fuel pump, giac big turbo..etc..etc.etc the list goes on, its not just any lil jetta. It made 356 on low boost (15lbs) once i get my hands on pistons and rods, boost will be up to 29lbs 400+ for a dail driver.

Ahmad, don't forget me dude. I hated I couldn't make the last event. I'll try to have both my cars their for the spring and I'll also have my other buddies there with their old school hot rods. Also, I'm barely modified. Pulley and ECU isn't much for our cars these days. I used to be one of the quicker E55 guys out there now, I'm at the bottom of the barrel.

as for the price, go to the bmwusa site and spec out an M3 vert with all the options... starting price for an M3 is already in the 50's with no options, so figure it out... I got a big discount, but I think it's worth it, otherwise I would have bought a cayman s.
post pics of the interior. I'd love to see it. something is different with your lights too though right? or does the hood cover up part of it? I like that look.

That gave me a good laugh. I respect BMW M and their precision-built motors. However, I just don't have a fascination with BMW M as I do MB AMG. As their vehicles have shown, AMG is clinically insane (738 tq in family sedan from the factory)...and I love it!
