evosport Rotors Now In Stock

The evosport Cross Drilled and Slotted AMG Replacement rotors are now available and in stock. These new multi-piece rotors are a direct bolt on replacement for the OE AMG brake calipers (OE E/CLS/S/CL/SL55 applications).

Not only will the upgraded disc help mitigate brake fade, but reduce unsprung weight by as much as 15lb. per corner up front! And you get to keep the OE look of the calipers w/o going to a more expensive solution that requires replacing them. These discs are more inline with what you find on the 65 AMG cars.

The central “hat” section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from cast iron, constructed in the USA and is made to the same specification and material as used by professional racing organizations. It is a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.

The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes high strength alloy steel drive pins and are cadmium plated for long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers.

One more important thing worth mentioning here...the stock discs do NOT have a unique right and left part. This means there will be one side (the right side) where the vanes of the disc are backwards hence working against optimal brake venting. The new discs offer a left and right so that the vanes are pointing the correct direction for venting.

Call now to order. Introductory pricing is $1,999.00 for the set. For more information, click here.

Thumbs up Great Product !

Mike - Your new Brake Rotor system looks great and the specs. look great also. Have you found any rattling noise from the disc floating system yet at low speeds with the brakes not engaged? Also, have you tried "Porterfield" Carbon Kevlar pads with these Discs? - Bob

Mike,

Those rotors looks great. Just curious how do they compare vs the Brembo BBK's? Are they the same weight or lighter? And i'm assuming those are 355mm or are they 380mm?

We have not experienced any chattering with the rotors at low speed, nor have we tried the Porterfield pads yet.

What is the life expectancy of these rotors vs. the factory rotors?

Depending on driving habits, these rotors should be good for 50,000 miles.

this is awesome. What is the weight savings in the rear? And in total for all 4? Can one purchase the fronts only?

nice...34lbs is like 70lbs sprung weight reduction...add a light battery, lighter rims, and a CF hood and you have taken the fat 4200lb sled down to roughly 4075-4100lbs or so...an effective increase of about ~10-15hp.

Don't want the Brembo's. Either drilled/slotted rotors for the stock calipers, or somehow fit W211 brakes for the "AMG" look.

How much is better handling worth to you? Especially on a product that has extensive R&D, a fantastic support team, and they look wicked tight as well?

$500 for each rotor with floating aluminum hats, directional vanes, zinc coated, cross drilled is a fair price.

MB wants $1000 each I believe..
