The Kleemann transformation starts today!!!!!
I finally received my E55 back from Kleemann on Monday, and wanted to complete this thread with a few comments and thoughts. I have listed below some of the my main areas of interest.
CONDITION OF CAR ON RETURN FROM KLEEMAN:
Mint!!! Just like I sent it to them, not a scratch or ding. The body shop that Cory sent the car to, did a beautiful job on the rear spoiler. It actually looks like a factory installed unit.
They put about 80 miles on my car but this was with my permission. I told Cory to take it to the body shop (5-10 miles away) and also to log a few miles to make sure no issues would arise when the car was returned to Ohio. Kleemann also returns all factory parts, neatly packaged (see picture below). From what I can tell, the quality of the new mod. install is very clean (see pics.).
THE NEW SOUND:
Holy Moly Batman!!!!! This thing Fuuckking rocks!!!! I would say it is the perfect blend. It sounds pretty much like factory when driving around town or at 2/10ths, but get on it and....................... "OHHH ****t"...... it's NASCAR. Please, do not get the wrong impression. It is not over the top, but it makes you and others realize that this is one, very serious car. :v :v
BUTT DYNO:
It feels like a totally different car. You can still drive in a subdued fashion and under the radar when needed. You can also turn this car into an absolute Monster!!!! This car feels sooooo much faster and more responsive than the old one.
The modifications are seamless. Everything works the same way as before.........................................tim es ten!!!
The real test for the "butt dyno" will be at the track, and I hope to be there on the 19th. I will post before and after times.
No regrets, I like these guys!!!!

Blown V8: I was not planning on getting another dyno. I think the best way to judge preformance gains is at the track. Stay tuned.
ENDSMTG: I had about 7,500 miles on the car when I sent it to Cory.
havent heard from you since you got your Kleemanized Beast back.
whats the verdict.....
Money well spent or not?
Exceeded your expectations or not?
Totally reliable since its been back or not?
Any quirks at all?
What do you like about it and what do you dislike?
And finally - have you taken it to the drag strip yet or not?
Really keen to hear what you have to say now that you have had the car back for a month or two
regards
Siswati

The headers do wonders for the exhaust note. It is not obnoxious but it lets you know that you have serious power under the hood. Inside the cabin you will not notice much difference from stock during normal driving but get on it, and it plays a very mean tune.
The upgraded cooling pump seems to do its job, preventing excessive power-draining engine heat. I have been to the track a few times since the upgrade and my trap speeds do not decrease, even after several runs.
LSD- As I have previously posted, I am not sure about this. My 60ft times have not improved but I have made all my runs with traction control on. This is an upgrade that seems to be more subtle. If it makes traction control less intrusive I cannot feel it. Maybe it works best when TC is not engaged.
Dislikes:.....Well, I would call them concerns. First, The "grey" warranty issues you may deal with when modifying your car. My dealer is aware of my upgrades and seems fine with them, but only time will tell. The second concern I have is putting this car back to stock form, if needed. My guess is that it won't be needed.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I spent around $10,000.00 for K2, LSD and the IC pump. In addition, it cost me around $3,000.00 to ship my car to Cory. IMO, for someone that is looking for reliable and proven performance I think it is money well spent. I know some people think these modifications are way overpriced, but I think in the case of Cory and Kleemann you get what you pay for. Before I even decided to have this done I did a lot of research on this site and others. I knew that I did not want to mix and match performance upgrades and there was no way I was going to try to cut corners and save a few bucks when modifying a $90,000.00 automobile. So, to answer your question, Yes!!!! I think it was money well spent.
I think they have met almost all of my expectations. I love the new excessive power that K2 provides. The car retains all of its manners but the engine responds much sooner and more aggressively when asked by your right foot.

Yes!!! No lights, no anything. It runs and acts just like it did before but with a large dose of Deca durabolin.
No! The upgrades really are seamless. It is a very well done package.
The two things that impress me most are: 1)The new sound is intoxicating. 2)The acceleration is vicious from any speed.
