05 ML-500 , 03 CLK5.5 AMG has left the Garage
New Hood Louvers
They can be install on any car . I was amazed at the amount of heat that come out of them when the fan turns on. I'm know it's just another CLK ___PTE___

Hood Louvers
Hi.
The hood is a OEM Steel , They body shop guys popped a sample off a Porsche rear engine hood. louvers. Then made them of West systems Epoxy and ground glass powder then bonded them in place

Hood louvers
It took about 2 weeks . The body shop is in Ft.Lauderdale FL.

There are lots of boat builders down here . All the glues, resins,hardeners. & epoxys , glass mat Biax,triax, Carbon Fiber , ?Kevilar is all fresh. This guy is not a boat builder. He has done some Audi's And Porsche's that are auto Crossed at Sebring,Moroso, and at Homestead, FL. Take care Patrick T. Eves

I respect your opinion , you said it Nicely . It was a toss up between function & form. Trying to let the heat out . And preserving the lines of the Car. You do not see them ,sitting at the drivers seat. and as you walk up to the car they don't jump out at you right away. But after you notice them , you start to look too them and form a opinion . Thats what makes living here in the U.S.A. great!
