Cant make up my mind...
I cant decide what should i do... I got bored of my ml350 to death and now I want to buy the car which gonna stay for a long time at least 5 years. I came down to 2 choices.
1. slightly used 05 E55 + kleemann stage 2 or 3 + LSD + maybe more mods.
or
2. Brand new Z06 + second daily car like a nissan Murano or some other SUV.
What do you think guys?

Have you driven a new Z06? You say that you have to carry people, how will you do that with a Z06?
A K2 E55 will give an average Z06 driver trouble from a dig
If I had to choose my Z06 or my E55, I'd probably choose my Z06, but it's got a supercharger on it

In the poll, you mention a wife car. Does your wife not have a car now? Is the ML the only car you own? If you have to carry more than 1 person, will you use the wife car you mention in the poll? Will the wife drive the Z06 when you're carting people around?

yeah i know.... ML63 nice and stuff but for the money i decided that E55 with mods would make me more happy, My wife does not drive yet but soon she will.
But after reading Z06 board and reviewing some test # of magazines thats one car you have to expirience i guess. Not every car can do 3.5 0-60! Thats SLR fast. I always wanted a true sport car, i dont mind the manual gearbox. What i do mind is that when i sat in a C6 i was so surprised it has so little space. But its livable.
I want E55 and Z06 And ML63 but unfortunately I have to choose pretty much 1 that i will love and enjoy driving. My friend is getting his Z06 late december or early january i think im gonna wait and see what is it like. and make my move...
But I really loved my 05 E55 and i can imagine how brutal it can be when moded 600+hp.

I owned (and just sold) a C6 Vette (non Z06), the interior and such are pretty much the same though. I think that after owning Benzes, you will be sorely disappointed by the fit, finish and overall quality of the Chevy (not to mention the resale value). I don't know if you plan on taking the car to the track (road course), if not the modded E55 will run with (if not beat the Z). I was a member of the Corvette forum and after many requests by myself and others, none of the new Z owners has yet to post a timeslip that is consistent with GM's claims. Get the E it's the best of all worlds!! SPEED, LUXURY, CLASS and QUALITY. The Chevy's only got 1 out of the 4.

well yeah i also afraid that this SUpercar can fall apart with sometime and over here Z06 is 110000 Can thats alot of money.

I bought my C6 back in January for about 50k I sold it last week for 43k with 6k worth of wheels and tires and a 1.5k cat-back exhaust system. The dealers are offering 5k cash back on the '06s. They were getting 5-10k over sticker when the C6 first hit the streets. If you really are in love with the new Z, wait about a year and pick up a low mileage used one, I bet you can get it for low 50's (USD)

That was my track event a few weeks ago and you can see how hard it was for the Z06 to get a good 0-60. My car was one of the modded E55 K2's (Plat. Blue).
I was driving the Z on the last run and missed 3rd
