HI all - Just getting this new thread organized

Moroso is open for test and tune January Friday 6th, Wed 11th, and Friday 13th, 2006

I am available for any of these days. These are the only 3 days I can make before business travel takes me aways for the next 2 months so I am defnintely planning to run one of these days. Anyone not able to make one of these dates?

I suggest that we monitor the weather conditions and as soon as a nice dry cold front sweeps through south Florida we should all head up to Moroso for a great start tot he year.

Man I'd love to go, but business forces me to stay in Orlando during the week. It's a shame the track isn't available on weekends.

I cannot make it on the 13th however but the other days are fine. I am also up for a track rental if there are a few more people into it.

I prefer the 11th, thinking that it will not be as busy as a friday.

hey guys I'll be out of town from the 24th to the 1st so I may have internet access but I am in for the 6th or the 11th for sure.

 

The past two nights have been stunning here in South Florida - weve had temps in the high 50's to low 60's. Humidity has been in the high 40's to low 80's with a mean of mid 60's. For us it doenst get much better than this. I have been having much fun on the street enjoying the clean cold air. Damn this beast is transformed in cold air. Just wish Moroso was open.

So lets hope that the 6th, or 11th gets some cold air - I will be out of town between 26th Dec and 3rd Jan, but I will check my emails and PM's.

I'm good for the 11th. Actually, it's better for me than the 6th.

 

gate usually open at 7:00 pm . tell them in tech , you are going to do Dial ins. Not brackets or ETs. post a number on your rear windshield , left side . like 12.15s ? . If you are a E55 or a lower number if you can go faster. For me I will write down like 13.20s . If not you may end up with the Ricers and all there maddness . plus long lines . Some times there is 40 or more cars , on that side of the track Bring your white shoe polish . to mark the windshield. Then something to wipe it off with , so your trip home you are not looked at by the FHP . or the Mann

I'll be there the 6th without my car. But will bring my truck with some tools & Jack . If my exhaust gets back from the HPC people . I'll be there on the 11th or 13th with the car. If you need something else PM me. BTW the last time I was there . . Their was a delay in opening the gates . Karts were still racing . They let us in at 7:00 PM

back in town after an awesome skiing vacation in Vail - snowed every day - best snow in over 25 years!

anyway - enough of that - This Friday Jan 6th is looking AWESOME - a cold front is moving in - According to Wunderground at 7pm the temp will be 57 degrees with a dewpoint of 45 and humidity of under 60% - For us South Floridians it seldom gets better than this

The cold front is coming - the latest forecast for Friday shows much lower temperatures occuring earlier in the day

They are predicting 55 deg at 7pm and down to 48 deg at 10pm - Cool dry air - this is what we have been waiting for all year. If you are hoping to challenge the 12 sec barrier, and you are planning on waiting till next week you are making a mistake - make sure you are there this Friday. Gates open 6pm and do as many runs till 11 pm - only $15.00

Hi guys, never been in Moroso before. I might be able to make it on Friday just to meet you guys and watch you racing. Who is going to be there? What time does it run until? I might be able to make it around 7PM, does it worth it to come at that time, are there going to be a banch of people racing?

 

By the way, is anyone attending the ER events?
