I am always the one driving so never see her cruising around. WOW.....just so beautiful...and STILL classy even though she was put out in 03 and designed in 02.
Great show.....a must see for any AMG fan.
Course I am a little biased as that was my exact same car they featured....wheels etc.
Going back to watch the SL's now.
This is great....way to go Benz!! Got a clue from all the Bimmers shows they have been showing over past 6 months.

I really have to say though .. it was nice but more like a commercial .. how could you have those legendary drivers and not run some hot laps in these cars! I wanted them to run that SL65 on the track and really get into performance! They are beautiful and fun to watch, but they really should have stopped the pacing and let those drivers show what these cars can do.
IMO ..
How bout that 6.3 though .. torque numbers are interesting .. I will bet a TT comes along in 08! I'll bet they're waiting to retool the V12 first .. if you TT the new V8 and it matches the TTV12 they'll hurt themselves.
Of course I'm just a novice compared to most of you on this board!

I was a little disappointed. I was watching the show to see the cars...not the ponderous interviews with great european drivers struggling with their English.
I didn't see one camera pan of the georgous interiors.
It was OK, but it left me wanting to see more of the cars, not the drivers.

I caught here in Chi....then this morning on the way to work saw 2 E55's, a Gallardo and a Cont. GT! Never see these cars that frequently or for that matter in January here! Seems like everybody wanted to get out and show today! Happy New Year to you all!!!!!!!!!!!
