2004 or less Z06 V. 03-up E55
I believe the E55 was bone stock, The Z was starting to take a little lead before they shut it down...
Looks like the new C6 will be in the same league w/same HP + TO as the older Z06..
I didn't post this to start any wars, I just allways see posts around here stating how the older Z06, and new C6 are no competition compared to the newer E55's etc....

the vette in that video basically had a 1 car headstart there.... AND the E55 had his window down.... did the vette have a passenger as well?

Stock for stock,the zo6 is faster in the 1/4 mile,if you know how to drive it.
Stock zo6 vs k1 e55.The e55 is faster,b/c its so much easier to drive.
600+hp zo6 vs k2? The zo6 should be the winner,but it will take a good driver,b/c the zo6 with its mega hp will be all over the road,cant make a mistake or the e55 will eat it for lunch............i wll let you know as soon as i complete my k2 mod.

But the hp should be very close w/aftermarket SC, and the older 1999-2002 E55 weighs between 3640-3700 lbs while the new E55 weighs 4087lbs..

C5 Z06s are a force to be wreckon with...here's an 03 Z06 I personally saw at Andy's shop a few days ago.
He had it bored out to 6.0 L + S/C... it wasn't Kleeman...
His best 1/4 was 12.5 @ 114/115??
I have his 1/4 mile run on the other computer!! grr
But yahh.....definitely W210...
I dunno if you guys remember, but there was a big controversy about his blown engine. He was CLAIMING to be stock so he can get it covered under warranty or something like that....

Granted, I wouldnt want to run into one of those things on the highway because it would probably massacre you, but on the streets it would be impossible to put that kind of power down to the ground especially with street tires.. I've had a few corvettes myself and they are great cars for the money, but, its very hard to hook them up when you modify the heck out of them.
I would be willing to bet the E55 would walk him in the low end in a street confrontation because he would be spinning his tires the whole time.
Oh... Did you see the C6 corvette with the Lingenfelter Twin turbo 427 motor?? It put down 1033rwhp!!!!!!

I wouldn't mind replacing my Procharger for a C6 TTi setup, A&A has one in the works as I've been following it's progress and much more affordable.
Here in So Cali, blown Corvettes are a dime a dozen (mostly C5s)...600,700+ rwhp, there around town awaiting to prey....hehehe! During A&A Corvettes GTG a few month ago, close to 300 Corvettes were on display and too many blown ones to count, it was shocking to say the least.
BTW: How did your Aquamist project turn out? I had great results with my 1s unit, but I decided to remove the HPS system and all the aftermarket parts and convert the E430 back to OEM. It's time to move it up a notch, preowned W211 E55 or the E63 sounds promising.
It should always be 3 steady beeps like a car alarm.
Enough to give the Vette a car length for sure......if it was the Benz beeping, then it blows my whole arguement I guess, but I still hate that. I wouldn't even race if a guy pulled that *****.
