Well, IIRC the E39 M5 had an error of about 12 mph at 167, meaning that 167 indicated was actually 155. And since the error is a percentage, not a fixed value, it would only increase with higher speed. I'd say its probably around 180-185 at most

Hey guys dont hate......Thats the real deal.....I agree that it is possiable for an error rate on the speedo, which would also apply to the E55.....Both cars are awsome in there own way....Besides my M5 isnt the 1st one to hit the 200mph mark, there are several in europe that have also done this....Jay.S

BTW: I went by active today to see Omar and Karl and told them how much more impressive your runs were in person. I thought the guy driving was topsupra but it's your brother Abbott. Sorry, I would have introduced myself. Hopefully we can get another rental going again.

Really pleased to see the M5's coming down in times - 12.4 is really respectable, and as we know, if they manage to bypass the launch contol restriction we are going to have one mighty competitor on our hands.

I'll do another rental, I want to get a new set of PS2's on first, and we can probably have a few more cars.... I also signed another advertising deal with Moroso, DragTimes.com is going to be on the christmas tree signs... so I'll want to drive up and take some pics...
I have about 40 slips here....
On the drive back, I felt bad beating up on the car so much..... :\
anyway, I did get about ten 12.1x @ 116.x passes, my best MPH was 116.94
you have to get the CLS out there!

I totally feel your pain about beating up the car like that, you can count me in for the next one, I want to get some drag radials and my brother wants to fine tune the NOS for the next one.....Also you can count MiamiM5 and the rest of my group in for the next one.....Jay.S
