PDC Parking Distance Control
I really regret not getting PDC and the pano roof. I know a retroactive fit of the pano is IMPOSSIBLE ... but have any of you considered/looked into/done the retro fit of PDC? What's involved in the process? Is it a DIY job?
I figure a new rear bumper and some wiring to the interior are all that's necessary? Any input is greatly appreciated!!! Peter

Parktronic can definitely be retrofitted, and since you have a W211 E-class, you only need to swap the bumper STRIPS for ones that have PTS holes... instead of swapping the entire bumpers.
I wouldn't recommend to do this yourself, as retrofitting parktronic requires removing part of the interior in order to run the wiring.

Steve did The Wifes W211 and She LOVES lt!...The Job Is Not recommended for the DIY..Its a Lot of Work to Install the Wire harness...runs from the front to the rear...also the dash must be removed to install the front display...
