Dealer Removal Of Top Speed Limiter

Any luck at this? Several months ago threads were posted about a removal option. Would it apply to my 2005 E55?

I heard that in Europe it's an AMG factory option. Tick the right box before delivery and it will cost you 5000 Euros or so. I lost interest very quickly so these numbers may not be accurate.

Duh, forgot some dealers do Renntech/kleemann installs. Was thinking of someone just asking a dealer to remove limiter on a stock E55.

Im not sure but I also heard it's an option when you order the car in europe but I don't think they charge as much as 5000€.
