K&n Filter Part# For 05 Model
I just ordered a pair of K&N filter #33-2181. For some reason 05 model has a different part # at K&N's web site.

Audi's, a whole bunch of them
they are the same, if i remember correctly
the newer ones have rounded corners and the older ones have straight edges, no difference if you ask me

i believe the snorkle mod is switching the stock plastic pipes that connect to the airbox from the grill area with the larger one from the S or SL class

Be careful with the part numbers. 04s don't fit properly in the 05. Check with K&N on exact number before ordering from another supplier. From experience

Is this the 'green filters' you guys are talking about? is there any gain(im assuming very very minimal) from doing this if i currently have no performance mods? i know i will eventually want to change the filter anyways when i pull the trigger on the performance mods but is there any reason to do it now? any idea on what the part number is for an '03? and how easy is it to swap out myself? thanks guys.
