Hennessy or Asp pulley on cls55

ECU tunning then modifies this from a safety standpoint by making sure A/F ratios are proper and your engine is not running too lean. This is all. The appearance of the ASP pulley above is exactly the same as appearance of the Kleemann pulley and those of other tuners.
.............The smaller pulley pictured above is a smaller waterpump pulley that is neccessary with the Hennessey and ASP pulleys because the larger diameter of those modified Crank shaft pullies cause them to rub against the stock water pump pulley when installed. It is not usually needed with the Kleemann and Renntech set up.

.............I don't know the belt size as I did not do the actual install myself. The shop that did it ran into the same problem of needing a slighly larger pulley with Hennessey pulley. I was already using a Kleemann pulley with the stock belts. I then upgraded from the Kleemann pulley to the Hennessey pulley and that was when I needed a larger belt. The shop then measured the stock pulley and purchased three additional pulleys larger than it. They used the one that worked. I am suspecting that the ASP and Hennessey pulley's are the same, at least in size.
...........the picture posted above by IMA55R2 of the ASP pulley also shows the stock pulley. All ASP did was to add the outer ring. Notice the mercedes benz star on the base pulley. So in that picture are views of both the stock and aftermarket pulley.

Sorry guys but I getting confused even more...
ASP just told ME that
Dayco does not make a 51.5 long belt. There part number is 5080510 . My
guess is the Gates belt is 51.0 long as this is the part number.

...........you can get virtually any kind of belt you want from these guys......http://www.beltsforanything.com/site6.php
.............problem is you do not know what belt you need. It is very easy to tell once you begin the install. rflow306 tells you you need the dayco 51.6 belt. ASP tells you you need another belt. Belts are cheap, just buy both belts and use the one that works.
..............alternatively, you may wish to leave ASP or Hennessey pulleys alone altogether and buy Kleemann or Renntech pulleys where the belt size is not an issue.

ASP supplied me with belt #K080510 and guess what? It was to short no matter how hard my tech tried he could not get it to go on.
I'm going to search for Dayco #508515 tomorrow at my local part stores hope they sell that brand.

I was able to install belt #K080510. It was a pain in the butt, but I managed to get it on. I had to use prybar and had the belt slide over the tip of the prybar and onto tensioner pulley.

Belt Length
Ted B, I think you may have touched on this a few posts up: am I correct that the Kleemann pulley (and RennTech, for that matter) are designed to work with the factory belt. I.E. there is enough adjustment in the tensioner to accommodate the increased diameter of the Kleemann pulley? I am about to jump on a Kleemann pulley and want to get the correct belt (if necessary) before I storm off to the shop for installation. Thanks! P.S. Anyone with a Kleeman pulley upgrade, please chime in!

Last I checked the E/CLS base powerplant/driveline are all the same.
CLS55's have a "look". Do you think "evil" fits the bill?

I ordered the ASP pulley a while ago and they sent it with the proper Dayco belt. The car PULLSSS harder than ever and does so consistently without any supercharger shut-off. Great mod! Do ittttt.
