Hi all, I am considering the lip and wanted some feedback. Downsides, etc. Is it too low, whatever. Also, if anyone has any close up pics that show how well it fits??

I am buying a used one for $1K. I have not seen it, but it is supposed to be MINT. I think they retail for about $3K, is that so?

I know alot of people like that Brabus front spoiler.. I guess I am just in the minority but... I really think it ruins the nice lines of the factory spoiler. It basically removes all the lines the factory spoiler has and just makes the front end a smooth rounded lip...

I actually prefer the Carlsson spoiler (if anything) since it adds to the lines the car already has..

I don't know... I guess it just doesnt appeal to me???

haha, I hate the carlsson one, because it looks like it is just an add on. I like the brabus, because it kind of blends in with the oem. I'll have to take a hard look at it..

Exactly! That's why I have NO spoiler.. I said I would pick the Carlsson if anything (in other words if I HAD to).

put up 2 pics side by side.. 1 of stock front end and 1 of the Brabus one.. See if you think it looks better... Here look:

Have you thought about waiting for Neal's cf lip for the W211. It shouldn't cover the lines of the amg bumper and it should be a nice subtle upgrade...Just my 2 cents...

I had the same debate but I personnaly went with the Carlsson lip. I think it give the car a more sporty look and the brabus which would give a more racing look. I like the Brabus CF lip but it is way to expensive for a lip which will probably scratch with time.

The one I'm looking at is used, and costs $1K. we'll see. Jay, he also carries Carls and would probably give you a decent deal to get us on board.

Brabus gets my vote. It looks cleaner. Here's a pic:

The only part that concerns me is the ends. It almost looks like it is too big, so that it does not go perfect with the car lines. I do not now if that is from install, or if some are not original BRABUS parts. The one I saw in "real life" was lined up perfectly.
