Ordered an E63. Just arrived at Port of Baltimore. Can someone confirm time it takes for dealer in NY to take delivery? Also, does anyone have any new pics of a black E63? Thanks in advance.

Saw a black one on the lot here in minneapolis two fridays ago. Asked about it on that following monday and it was sold. To be honest, it gave me goosebumps.

Figure at least one week. The dealer will tell you it will only be a matter of days, but don't believe it.

Is there any means of tracking the cars? I was told weeks ago that my car was done and ready to ship for an August 21st delivery. Needless to say, no one seems to know where it is. Are they just yanking my chain? Guess there is nothing to do but wait. How did you find out that yours was in Baltimore? Any web sites. When i got my M3 I was able to track it all the way here. MB needs better technology and better communication w/ their customers.

My dealer told me the car had arrived in Baltimore but wouldn't give me a date when they would take delivery. They just said I would have it by the end of August. Of course when I put my deposit down in early June they said I would have it by end of july / early august.

I agree MB needs a tracking system for its customers - not just the dealers.

you are correct. being in transportation and able to track a pen you order from Staples I would think a 90k automobile would be visible every step of the way.

I had an experience with a lost vehicle but will not go into detail cuz in the END I love MB......I also had a girlfriend who cheated on me and it took a few months to break up with her! Maybe I am soft

Congrats on the E63 by the way. What color? Post pics ASAP. I would do the same but it seems that mine will be delayed. I called and was told that there was some dispute over shipping and so despite being built 2 weeks ago it was just loaded for the US on Friday. Guess that means at least another 2 weeks to make it over and then be delivered, more like 3-4 weeks realistically, I guess. Oh well..... Will keep enjoying the M3 'til then

Thanks. Blk / Blk, prem II. My dealer told me mine was in build in early July and it was completed in early august. It is now sitting in Baltimore - hopefully I will be able to drive it before labor day.

BTW, the prior staples comment is spot on. Oh well....
