AMG composite rotors?

Can anyone verify that we can fit the 030 package composite rotors using our OEM calipers?

030 are actually bigger. i think the 63's are the same size, and composite, so THOSE would be the ones you want.

+1

Also will we need different pads with these composite rotors...?

The Performance Studio Options look good too ...

On Page 15...
The High Performance Brake System (380mm / 36mm x 8 piston caliper)
Speedshift Plus (two manual modes)
Drivers Package (300km/h delimit + compatible tyres)
I would rather have a Quaife than their LSD though.

Try higher boiling point brake fluid! The light will still come on, but it will mean nothing.

Does anyone know the part number on the E63 rotors? Also, if they are the same size, why the need for new calipers? Just curious.

To whoever asked about the pads, yes we will want to run new ones so add $500 to it all.

I am not interested in the 030 package. I simply want the composite rotors.

the 030 option is 380 mm you need to change the calibers&pads.

I got that reported to me, I'm not sure why the user didn't just post that himself (or herself)

The fading brakes are not being caused by fluid boiling its being caused by over heated pads and rotor that retain large amounts of heat in the center hub portion.

Fluid will help with boiling but MB fluid is actually fairly decent. I have motul in my cars and its a bit better but nothing amazing.

Stock E63 rotors are 360 mm and "should" fit. I guess only way to find out is to order a set and see if it works.....

I think the stock E63 caliper and the E55 caliper are different though.
