I dunno. I've been thinking of adding an SLK55 as a stable mate for my E55. I think the two would go well together in matching irridium silver and black/red interrior.

SL 65 AMG and E63s AMG
SLK 55 Black Series will cost $137,000 USD. Do you still want one? I think I'll go for a 2 year old SL65.

Don't do it. As incredible of a car the Black Series is, its even more incredible how much of a waste of money it would be.

Seriously??? It's more than double a SLK55 AMG? Wow... that is rediculous! Go with a used SL65AMG. That is an easy decision.

The previous SLK Black series had a carbon fibre roof that did not retract.
Is this new 55 black going to have the same?
Seems like a waste to have an SLK that does not have a retractable hardtop.

Also, for 137,000$ why not get a 2007 911 turbo. 0-60 in 3.4 seconds...

137000, it's a bit too much for an SLK. I would go for an 911 Turbo, or put down a bit more for a F430.

Are you guys sure about the 137,000? That's seems to be extremely high. The guys at AMG must have the common sense to know that no one in their right mind would pay that much for a little SLK (even with carbon fiber and all...)
