Drivers: look at these numbers and give me your opinion PLEEZE! Before the track yesterday I had my ECU 'threemapped' again with K2 Mustang dyno numbers of RWHP 422 and RWTQ 482 which are close to my values before the whole air pump recall deal.
Best runs on BFGDR at 15 psi with fronts at 45 psi, sport mode, comfort setting, half tank, esp off, dyno mode for warming tires, still not able to do burnout very well in either dyno or not with ESP off, power brake to 1100 and crush throttle on launch yielded RT of .09 to .1, 60' of 1.80 to 1.82 and traps @ 113 with 12.1 to 12.15 ET's. Am I missing something? Why cant we break 12's with my setup?

I would expect your car to trap at 118+, not 113. I assume temp was in the 60s last night? Your 60ft time was good (1.8) so you were hooking up. From the track numbers I'm thinking your down on power. I run 12.1-12.3 all the time but I'm trapping @ 121-123mph.

main number to be worried about is the trap. 113 is what some stock cars trap at. Also your time is really good. Good 60ft too. I havent looked in awhile but I am sure a stock car with decent driver would pull those times on DRs. I think you have a power problem. something is pulling power period.
your car judging by others should trap 118-121 i guess.

Grumpy, Derek, JakPro any input? I cant seem to get my original K2 ECu settings back. The guys at Kleeman have been working diligently to restore my original performance data: on stock tires with 2.0 60' trapping at 118 with 12.3 best 1/4 mile ET! Very sad- Joker

'05 E 55 Black
Hey,
Thats almost what I was running on Friday night on the other side of the state in my stock '05 E55 without DR's. That was post dealer ecu flash as well. My best was 12.43 @ 113.07 running 1/3 tank in sport tranny, comfort suspension, and rear pressures @ 35. These seem to be fairly close to pre-flash times. Somethings definitely up with the K2, though...

Man Joker, starting to get lost on your car. You are doing everything we are telling you and just don't understand what is happening.
Couple of quick questions
Have you ever turned 11's at that track? Wondering if you have a bad track. Look at the poor guys in Cali last week. Guys with perfectly tuned K2's and some fierce 911's could not break into the 11's. Only after they each had like 10+ runs in and had the track down-pat, did ONE of them peddle his way to near 12 flat.
Before you start pumping cash into more parts, what's the nearest track...near your current track. Perhaps worth a drive and a hotel stay for some sanity. Just a thought.
On the dyno, it just could not be more hard to figure out....look at me, being told 684ft lbs torque. Thank God for you guys bringing me down to Earth. I am going to a guy this week on a dyno that keeps telling me he will adjust nothing (altitude et) and I "git what I git". Dynos are so hard....
Hang in there man. That would be my suggestion. If there is another track 50, maybe 100miles away, try that one for a few runs. You tank there and you have your answer....car is still running like ***** and let's put some more cash into it, or sell the friggin thing on Ebay. I know you gotta be thinking that bout now eh??
Hang in there Joker.

thanks for all the concern gents, this is frustrating me as I know what K2 setups are capable of (mid to high 11's) but I cannot get there. Jim, I have never ran 11's with my beast. Well, have another call to Cory and Brandon to see what they suggest. Can someone tell me how to further evaluate the question of my IC sporadically being a problem? I did not get the IC upgrade with my K2 and LSD setup. Cory said not necessary in my area. What lot numbers have been associated with IC failure? Thanks for the continued camraderie. Has anyone seen my mid to high 11's anywhere??!! Joker

sounds identical to my car's numbers on the bad track... and yes, the trap is the key.
Ironically, I just overnighted my ECU to Cory to get the post flash K2 program installed again... it would never work on mine... so I have my own fingers crossed.
