I had the ASP pulley installed but the belt they sent me was to small. I need to replace the stock belt with a longer one.

Could someone tell me how to remove the belt?

On serpentine systems, you need to release the tension on the idler pulley(s), then the belt should slip on/off.

You got the ASP Pulley on with out touching the belt..?

17mm, 16point socket and ratchet. (or just a 17mm, 16 point wrench)
tensioner is located to the left of the s/c pulley.
you should see the spot where you slide the socket onto the tensioner.
slide it on and push the ratchet towards the pass side.
you will see the tensioner release the belt.
grab the belt and slide it off.
whole process takes about 5 seconds to get the belt off and about 10 seconds to get the belt back on

Thanks 4npower... I feel dumb for asking how to do it. I removed the cover and saw what I needed to do, took two seconds to do.

MACHC5, I didn't do the install myself. I had my tech do it for me. He was the one that told me the belt they sent isn't the right size. He managed to get the stock belt back on but it was still to tight.

The right size belt that's needed is Dayco 5080515 I searched all over for it and ended up ordering it.

I have told ASP about this on numerous occasions and they continue to supply the wrong belt.

It's the same size supercharger belt that comes on a 2003 Jaguar XJR. It makes it easier to find and track down this way. A forum member from NJ gave me the info, i can't remember his name.

Man I wish I knew that yesterday I drove all around looking for that belt.

Received the new belt today... Fit like a glove

Any other mods on your car? Are you going to post up a dyno with A/F?

As of now just the pulleys, K&N drop in filters and removed the two plastic cover to let some more air into the filters. No plans on putting it on the dyno.

Please, please put it on the dyno. I'll paypal you $25 as soon as you post the results.

-MUST HAVE A/F READING- Pre-cat would be awesome, but tailpipe will suffice.
