Bridgestone Potenza RE050A and S-03 tires?
I currently run PS2's.
What are your real world experiences on the differences between the 3?

Don't waste your time on the RE050A's and I didn't think you could even get the S-03's any longer. Must be old stock since Bridgestone discontinued them in favor of the RE050A Pole Position tires.
Stick with PS2's or F1's.
Take care.

I agree with the old Toyo's (Proxes T1-S...or something like that). I heard the newer one is greatly improved in the noise department, but I cannot vouch for that since I haven't owned a pair. I owned the older ones on my 740i Sport and they got loud just like the F1 GS-D3 tires doe after being worn down somewhat.
If you don't mind cost then go with the RE050A. Since grip is not an issue you'll enjoy the tires.
Cheers.

Here's what I'm looking for in a tire:
- Obviously, due to power constraints, grip off the line is not important. But I do like grip around corners, freeway onramps, etc.
- Low noise level
- Relatively good tire wear
As I'm running PS2's right now, the cost of the RE050A is not an issue, as it's actually a much cheaper tire.
Keep the responses coming!

After having several cars with the GS-D3's I will never buy another set. Yes they are sticky, yes they are good in the wet, and yes they are quiet when new but as they age and wear they turn to total JUNK.
I had the wheel bearings on my E500 replaced thinking they were causing serious groaning sounds at low speeds. No it was just the horrible tires at 1/2 tread depth making the car sound like a busted Kia. I put on a set of PS2's and the car went back to the silent car it was before.
My E55 currently has PS'2 on it right now and the fronts are nearly at the cords on the inside fronts and the rears are down to wear bars all the way across the tire. The car is a bit skitish at speed with this level of wear but the car is still riding like it did when the tires were new. Road noise is just fine and is only slightly worse than when the tires were new.
The Goodyears were just horrible and they are made even worse with a very soft sidewall that give great ride quality but very mushy steering inputs.
I think the PS2 and the RE050A Pole Position are near equals and the Goodyear is not even on the chart once its got 5k miles on the tire.

also much more quiet than the Pirelli's that were on a E63 I tested.
