My apology to Mario...
I wrote a mean thread aimed at Mario and from frustration a few months back. i actually never even gave him a chance to respond and assumed the worse, which was wrong. Now, I am having a heck of a time editing that post, so i wanted to at least add some customer service kudos for him just for the record. I won't get into the valuation of the badge. to each his own. I have boutght ALL of the badges available, just because i am an eccentric and the $10 Ebay one is NOT the same as his, even though they are similar.

Mario's hood badge is a very nice piece, by the way. I got one recently and it IS better quality than the E-Bay ones.

Never fear, I will continue to be the ***** you all know and hate.
I apologized, because I made a statement in haste. I never thought of it again, until recently when I noted the discoloration on my badge. I emailed Mario and he responded, but with a reminder of what I had said. So, I went back and took a look and felt that I owed him an apology. At the time i wrote the statement, i was scared that the emblem would fall off and scrape accross my car causing damage. I even went as far to state that I would seek revenge if that happenned. While I may would be upset that my car got scratched up, it would clearly be my own concern since i am chosing to mod my car. Saying what i did was just inappropriate and personal. On top of that, I used a public forum which is open for anyone to see. Anyone who read that would assume that I was unhappy with the badge and may would not buy from him as a result, which is not fair. That is afterall, the badge that has been on my car all this time, so I am indeed a customer. I just felt bad about any effects the statement could have on a person's livelihood. Talking smack is one thing, but that was not cool.
By the way, I open my mouth enough that i end up sticking something in it at times, so I need to learn to keep it shut or at least be like Earl and try to make restitution someway.
CAN ONE OF THE MODS HELP A BROTHER OUT AND ERASE MY STATEMENT?? I put a request up in the appropriate section of the forum but have had no luck and my edit button has expired on that.

Anyhow. Tis what it tis. I'd take a commander over any of the competition, other than a G (which is what i am getting instead).
