E55 In my driveway....Finally
It has happened........... Finally! After months of searching
I have just bought a 2006 E55 from Vadim @ MBLN with 10k on the clock. The car is in perfect condition in & out. It was previously owned by BiTurboAmg who had K2 package installed and eventually parted most of the goodies out.
It still has a kleemann ECU and LSD. I am officially scared of the power although once I get a feel for everything; there will be a pulley upgrade to come. It is well optioned out although one thing that it is missing, the parktronic. I am in the process of researching to see if Steve (forgot his mbworld screen name) can sell + install
Driving back to Vegas tomorrow and will see how she does long distance.
Already in the research phase:

Welcome to the family!!!, by the way I bought the Kleeman headers from Biturbo, which should be getting here today, don't sweat it, the car is a beast and enjoy in good health!

I just purchased an 05 and can't be happier...I purchased from a private party, and feel a got a smoking deal...I am in the market for the extended warranty...you may consider this as well.

Thanks to all for your gracious welcoming into the wonderful world of the E55.
The drive home was filled with a permanent grin and a few sprints to 150
I ended up purchasing an additional 1 yr warranty on top of the 1 yr included with a certified pre-owned. The good thing about the warranty is that it is 100% refundable at any time, which I liked. The bad part is that I paid $2700 for 1 year...........any comments?
Has anyone got the parktronic installed after driving off the lot?
Now all I have to do is sell my 2002 C32 with 63000 miles along with a warranty till 11/2008

Well congrats and dont mind that "salvage" on the title it was a small wall and only 3 air bags went off.
Just busting your *****, enjoy the car I do miss it and I took very good care of that car and I think 4500k miles of the
10k were from NM to KS and NM to CO and NM to CA so not too much city driving in it, Test the top speed for me I only ran it to limit once then had the mods done and never had a chance to see how far it was good til maybe 186 or maybe 200?? If you need anything let me know but that program is great we spent some time on that but I have dyno sheets if you need them. Congrats again and enjoy the car it was great!!!
