trickle charger
I understand MB offers a trickle charger, is it any good? Or are there other brands that are better?
Just thinking ahead since winter is around the corner. Thanks.

THe trickle MB offers is pretty good. It's a relabelled version of another brand. It works great, shuts off after it's done charging to full and will reactivate if it detects a drop in battery voltage.

2014 GL 350 on order
sunman: where do you recommend to attach the battery tender, rear or front battery? Any other tips as she is going to hibernate soon for the winter. If we have a mild, no snow winter she will get some road time, otherwise Good night! Joker

I have a trickle charger hooked up to my motorcycle (beemer).
I dont beleive cars need trickle chargers unless you plan on putting them away for months at a time. I have had all my cars (mostly Acuras and MBs) sit for 5-7 weeks at a time and start up like nothing happened.
