dynamic seats - can you turn the passenger seat on without someone sitting in it?
mine wasn't turning on and the tech said you must have someone in the seat..... is that true for yours?

It's ture. It's the same on the S55, and all "Dynamic seats", as far as I understand.

got it... next question -

does the yellow 'airbag off' light stay on when there is nobody in the car?

if i drive with someone in the car or nobody in the car.... the light is not on.

is your car different?

some people who come into the car really dont notice to activate the dynamic seats cuz there not familiar with the feature. I guess some people jus rather have it on instead of reaching down and making like your gonna grab the persons leg to activate it.

You can set one of the memory buttons with the dynamic function turned on, then all the passenger has to do is push the memory button and the dynamic feature turns on.

why would you want the "airbag off" light to be on!? The light should normally be off, it means the airbag is functional (you are talking about the passenger airbag light yes?)

It comes on if you plug in the passenger seatbelt whilst no one is sitting in the seat, as i often do (i strap my bag into the seat so it doesnt roll all over the floor or boot )
