Stock OEM 18" Tires. Throwing them away

I got 4 Tires i need to get rid of.

They are the stock sizes:

265/35/18 rear, and 245/40/18 front. All tires have about 65-70% of tread left.

They are the continental 2 tires. I am located in socal, and the price is $499 or best offer.

A new set cost over 1k + shipping from tire rack. THESE NEED TO GO ASAP

If you're really throwing them away, why put a price on them?

If you are willing to toss them, how about putting some good karma out there and giving them away for a six-pack or something?

Actually, it is expensive. You are basically asking full retail. I say just pay to have them recycled.

1100 X 0.65 = $715 and that would be IF they were $1100 (not) and IF they had 65% left (maybe). Dude, I don't care if you can get the money you want. More power to you, just don't be so amazed when we arent jumping on them at your "discount"

The tires you have (OEM) are junk, you know that. They are not worth the liability you will have if you sell them. Destroy them and discard in your states approved manor.

I am honestly very confused from this forum.

I am not trying to sell some "JUNK" or anything at a discounted price. Liability?

I took these tires off, i replaced them with ps2' tires. I actually went larger in the rear with 275's.

I thought asking what i asked was fair These are the tires that came on my 2005 e55.

If you don't want them, you don't have to buy them, but coming in here and trying to get on my case, when your not interested is not needed.

Post pics.

There are too many claims of % left on tires. A lot go by the odometer but yet have never taken proper care of their tires: under or over inflated. BTW, % should mean til they hit the wear bars and not til they are slicks.

ContinentalSportContact2

245/40-18 = $199 @ tirerack each
265/35-18 = $225 @ tirerack each

Let me redo this....

I had the tires taken off at Lucent Motors. www.lucentmotor.com

They are a well known shop, and have a great rep on www.6speedonline.com

I simply asked what percent were left on the tires, and i was indicated ~65-70%

I dont have pictures because they still have the tires, and are waiting for me to figure somthing out.

I said local pick up, so that you can see the tires, if you dont like them, you dont need to buy them. ****, you can even bring a thread guage, and see how much is left on the tires....

I need to get rid of them before the weekend. THE LOWEST OFFER IS 400.00

Take em or leave em.

Thanks,
Jordan

PS: all you guys that are saying my price is way to high. If you read, it said OR BEST OFFER
