2012 SLS AMG
Tire Pressure Monitoring...
Is it me or does the E63 not have tire pressure monitoring? It is not on the list for options and I cannot find it in the AMG menu or anywhere. Am I crazy or have they done away with it? Please tell me I'm wrong.....

3 Porsche rotation
It does have the tire pressure monitoring but the cheaper version. I believe up to 2005 actual sensor is installed in each wheel but since 2006 it is software monitored. I don't know the exact method, maybe others can explain in detail.

If they are using wheel speed, is there a warning light that comes on? I have not seen mention of this. There is mention of a Tire Pressure Monitoring in the manual and how to get to it from the standard display but it is not in the car. It seems that Canada has the TPMS. Guess we'll find out....

I don't think I have it on mine. I've been through all the menus and have never seen TPMS.

On the E55 TPMS is behind the "outside temp" screen. Scroll to the outside temp, and then press one of the arrow buttons.

Fast Cars!
A lot of the new Mercedes do not have TPMS, they detect a low tire threw ESP, it works very well actually.

A blue message comes up saying "check tire pressures"
