About to pull the trigger on the CCW C14, need final opinions
Guys!
After several e-mails talking to John @ CCW, i finally found a rim that might work with my tire setup for the E63
F: 265/35 ZR18 Potenza RE050A
R: 295/30 ZR18 Potenza Re050A
It is the CCW C14 with anodized black finish
F: 18 x 9
R: 18 x 10

The rim will look similar to this

And here are a few example images on how the anodized black finish will look like

What do you think guys?? Will it look decent on an E63?
I still have to make sure with John that the 265 front and 295 rear will fit with absolutely no rubbing. If these tires doesn't fit, i would rather go the 19 inchers CCW 505A and run the 255, 285 tires instead.
Any comments will be great!

Haha, thanks for the honest comments guys. I knew you will not like it... the thing is, CCW wheels are a lot more affordable than their competitors, and they're light!
I actually like the 505A more than the C14. For the 18 inchers however, they say the C14 will clear the stock brake, but the 505A will not, due to the curvature of the spokes.
So i decided to sacrifice look for performance. jangy who decided to stay with the 18 inchers could run 275 front and 295 rear with no rub. See this thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...&highlight=295
running 295s and no rubbing might be possible with the 18" since the diameter of the wheel actually decreases to about 24.9" from the stock 25.3". Then if u go up to the 19 inchers your wheel diameter will go up to 26"!! That's 0.7" increase over stock so it makes sense that it rubs.
Staying with the 18" also allows me to use tires such as the RE050A Pole Position, and the Yokohama Advan Noeva AD07.
So for max performance, staying with the 18" seems pretty good. But of course the aesthetic of C14 doesn't quite work with Mercedes Benz. Is there any other 18" wheel out there that cost around $2600 and has the same look as the CCW 505A?? 505A has a 5 spoke design.
