Alright guys, I just changed my rear spoiler over to the E63 style. So I have a $600.00 painted Renntech spoiler sitting in my garage.

I was initially thinking of trying to sell it but then I thought I would rather just give it away to a deserving member of this board. A kind of "pay-it-forward" gesture and a repayment to a place that has given me plenty of good advice.

All I ask from the person that I ultimately send it to (Yes, I will even pay for shipping......ground anyway ) is the following:
1. You must have and be able to prove you own an E55
2. You are a contributing member to this forum and have never called me a diickhead.
3. You do not intend to sell this gift.

So to win, what do you need to do? Well, like Denzel Washington so eloquently stated in Training Day, "Tell me a story"...........................................w hy should it come your way?

ok that would be me i would pass it along to a buddy of mine that bought my e55 ( same color as yours ) as a get well gift for him. his going in for spinal fusen (spell check ) surgery on his neck on Wednesday

hey rock,

my 2005/e55 (brlnt slvr) just got hit (w/ me in it) last week. t-boned in an intersection. she is battered , but repairable. fortunately, looks like we will both be okay. have considered RENN spoiler as am RENN stage 1 at current. would make great post surgery gift for her and likely put a wiggle in her gorgeous backside. adam at EuroElites can vouch for my 55 as they did the work. no worries though. irregardless, very generous of you no matter who may receive. thanks.

ok here's my story ....

I never been a believer on the AMG until I got one....03 E55 to be exact, black on charcoal, pano and keyless go even the trunk closer that close half way if you dont have the key with you ........eversince I got the car I didn't intend to modify the car until now...I dunno why....but it just happened recently and I just couldnt resist it.......Just like what Emeril said bammm bought the flat AMG logo, bammm again for the front clear side marker and bammmm for 20" HRE 549R with falken 452 tires ...I just couldnt stop it yet ....waiting to get the Euroteck CF lips and Eisenmann Sport is also including in the Emeril technique and AHA ...so I guess the rear spoiler is next.

there goes my journey so far and I would love to be better and better ......

Rock, that’s a heck of a gesture. If I didn’t have one waiting to be installed, I’d be scrambling to write a story as well. That being said, I’d like to vote for m52e55 as his story brought a tear to my eye. The silver beast sounds like it is undergoing some intensive surgery and a pre-painted 744 silver spoiler would make a helluva get well gift. m52e55, it’s good to hear both of you made it out OK.

I don't want the spoiler... but i thought I'd share this funny story....

A guy goes over to his friend's house, rings the bell, and the wife answers.

" Hi, is Tony home?"

" No, he went to the store."

"Well, you mind if I wait?"

" No, come in."

They sit down and the friend says "You know Nora, you have the greatest breasts I have ever seen. I'd give you a hundred bucks if I could just see one."

Nora thinks about this for a second and figures what the hell - a hundred bucks. She opens her robe and shows one. He promptly thanks her and throws a hundred bucks on the table.

They sit there a while longer and Chris says "They are so beautiful I've got to see the both of them. I'll give you another hundred bucks if I could just see the both of them together."

Nora thinks about this and thinks what the hell, opens her robe, and gives Chris a nice long look. Chris thanks her, throws another hundred bucks on the table, and then says he can't wait any longer and leaves.

A while later Tony arrives home and his wife says "You know, your weird friend Chris came over. "

Tony thinks about this for a second and says "Well did he drop off the 200 bucks he owes me?"

Dammit Rock!! How about an E500 owner who modeled his car after yours!

No crap!! Before I bought my E, I was a lurker on here and saw your car. It sold me and I had a blueprint of what I wanted mine to look like. I couldn't afford the E55, so I got the 500, I couldn't afford the BBS wheels so I got the MRR look-a-likes, and I couldn't afford the RENNtech spoiler and I was about to purchase a knock off. So you see, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I definately have never called you a D1ckhead.

I obviously don't plan on selling it, I'll provide pics of the installation within 1 week of delivery.

Oh, and please, please, pretty please.

3. I do intend to install it and not sell it, at least for now.

Here is my story of why the spoiler should come my way:
The first time I saw an E55 was when it first came out and someone I knew had one with a spoiler. Up until I purchased my E55, I had always thought that the spoiler is standard. When I went to buy my E55, my first question was "how come it doesn't have a spoiler". LOL I had always expected that the E55 should have one, and somehow it always look odd that mine doesn't, even now.

Here is a story that I like:
Two monks came across a swollen river that they had to cross. A young damsel, who had hurt herself, was waiting for some help to cross the same river. The elder monk carried her on his back crossed the river, and dropped her off at the other bank.
As the two monks continued their journey, the younger one's mind was at unrest, "How could my senior do such a blasphemous act - touch a girl!". After a long time, when the young monk could not contain himself any further, he finally asked the senior monk, "You touched that girl, how could you break our sacred vow".
The elder monk remarked quietly, "I left that girl at the river, you are still carrying her!
