2003 E55 AMG
Just to be clear.. based on my testing this weekend with the fitment of the paddles into my own E55, I am not going to send out these other 2 that I have.. I need to straighten out the mounting issues first...
The 3 paddle sets I have now are confirmed to fit in the CLS55 and CLK55 and thats it so far.. We physically mounted them in these 2 cars so we know 100% they work there.

Yup.. The pictures I posted earlier in the thread were taken from a CLK55 with the paddles fitted. I can ship to UK.. Email me, and I'll reply with a shipping quote.
I dont want to take deposits on those until I see a set or two come out of the manufacturing facility so I can verify the quality and finish.
They are bigger than the E55 paddle buttons.. This is what we are currently trying to resolve. I am going to install this set into a friends C55 this week so I will verify fitment in another car.

Hey Guys.. Just trying to keep up here so my apologies for the gaps in replies.
We have confirmed fitment on the C55, CLK55, SLK55, CLS55.
The SL55, E55, and S55 have not been confirmed yet. We know that these cars have different buttons in them , but when the manufacturer ordered the buttons from MB they ended up with an incorrect set, and thats why it didnt work on my E55..
We actually escalated this right to AMG Germany because both the dealership & MB headoffice Canada confirmed there is an error in the EPC which incorrectly states the Part # for the E55.
I am doing my best to keep everything moving forward but at this time, I am waiting for a set of buttons from MB so I can forward them to the production company and get the mold changed.
One thing that can help me...
I could really use a picture of the BACK of a steering wheel from the following cars: 2003 E55/SL55, 2004 E55/SL55, 2005 E55/SL55. This will help me to visualize at what point the buttons got switched to the new design.
If you guys can help me out with this, it would help immensly!!

Any installation photos?
Vrus, do you have any paddle installation photos yet? You told it would be ready last weekend. I'll decide based on complexity of installation procedure.
One more thing for your favor, would you provide the measurements of new AMG paddle switch as in the photo(a, b, c, and d)?

Ok Guys... Some more news...
It seems as though the E55 fitment is the only one that is questionable. We discovered that there is an error in the EPC.. Both in the electronic one and even in head office when we escalated the issue.. We only discovered the error when head office escalated to Germany.
They said something about a 428 card not being part of the E55 build or something.. The long & short of it is that the E55 seems to have a different button design than the other cars, and the buttons cant be bought separately for the pre 06 cars.. They are actually part of the steering wheel.
At this point we know for certain it fits: C SLK CLK CLS SL.. All of the part #s were cross checked and we physically installed them on a CLS, C, SLK, CLK.
The paddles went into production and we are waiting for the first set to come out of the mold.
The only issue is whether or not we can do this for the E55.. I have to see what we can do because I want these for my car badly... but.. if its not going to be economically feasible to make a new mold to satisfy the few people that need them, I may have to scrap the E55 idea.
I'll exhuast 1 more option and then post a final decision with respect to E55.
Sorry guys.. Wish I had better news.
