CF Paddle shifters *pics*

I just received CF paddle shifter I will be retrofitting them on to my car tonight. I searched high and low for Carbon Fiber Paddle shifters. after hours of searching I found a guy that makes them on the M3 forums. Anyway here is a sneak peak before the install. They will look sick complimenting the rest of my CF interior.

More pics later...

His website does not have any content other then a logo. So I can't point you there. PM me and I will give you his email address. He has other CF parts like a CF Steering wheel.

I paid on Saturday and the paddles were delivered today.

My M3 paddles that I purchased from Christian were just mounted using appoxy I plan on doing the same thing. They are very secure.

I mounted the CF Paddles. They do look sweet! The left paddle is 2mm from clearing the windshield wiper. These paddles have a slight elevation mounting point which kind of bothers me because it makes the mounting area visable. I I am getting a thicker steering wheel so it may not be an issue. Worse case senario it bugs me enough that I have to take them off to grind down the elevated mounting area.

Those look nice. IMO the paddles are too big for the steering wheel. Also on the last picture, I can see that they touch the cruise and blinker/wiper control sticks as well. I will have to see how the other paddles would work on MB steering wheel and decide what to buy.

Ok the way the paddles stuck out was bugging me! I had to fix the problem. So I pulled out my grinding wheel from storage and went to work. They look 100X better now. Also the clearence around the sticks has improved. Now I need my thicker wheel to come in!

SANDOVAL, I like your energy and drive. The paddles I don't care for, kind of look like big ears. That's just me, glad you like them.

VERY pretty! I'm thinking about getting a new steeringwheel too. Definitely all leather. I'm interested to see what you get.

The paddles were intend for the M3 if your read my first post that is where I found them. The pictures do not do them justice. They feel great while drivin no bulky or in the way.

Here is the Steering wheel I chose:

I had to grind down the metal mounting points. Then I used high pressure universal plastic epoxy to bond.

Is there really an E55 "presidents edition"? What does this car have different? anyone have a link to it for more details?
