Congrats to Jim in his Black series. While he did not break his all motor record he did manage the fastest pass to date in a 63 AMG. Unfortunately some ladies sabotaged Jim'
s MIR trip forcing Kettle One and Petron on him, and keeping him occupied till wee morning hours. The late arrival still produced the following pass on the bottle which is currently the fastest , quickest pass to date in a 63.

you likely go 10.90's had you stayed in it the last 330.

You and JT55 are neck and neck at 1. and 2. motor and you are alone at the top as the Worlds fastest 63.

Hope you can get into the 10's man.

 

Josh, are admitting that you crunched the numbers on my slip and could see that I really did roll out of the throttle for a split second becuase of lack of traction? Thank god, there is somebody on here that can think for themself and does not think I am just making excuses.

I apreciate all the work you put in updating the Fastest 63 list, I am happy to have some company at the top from John and Andy, just goes to show that the 63 is very capable. My prediction is Andy will be taking over the #1 motor only spot very soon, his 11.59 with his very limited mods is very very impressive. By next spring the entire top 10 should range from high 10's to mid 11's. I can't wait to see what Rick's monster is going to be capable of

While he may not be done yet , he has completed a somewhat clean pass in excellent conditions to run an astounding et and trap. This was done @ MIR on 11/22/2008 despite the error on the timeslip.

Jims CLK Black Series is modified and he currently sits on the top of the 63 list in all categories except the top non nos pass which was also attained @ MIR by JT55 in his red CLK Black Series.

The top stock 63 pass still belongs to Rob, Oldgixxer who unfortunately was banned from this site, sure would be great to get him back!!

12/13/2008 @ Famoso should allow some west coast cars back into the fray, we shall see.

Once again Jim we applaud your passion and dedication and hope you can bring the 63 further respect by being the 1st 63 in the 10's

Yes, the track was prepped much better for the rental vs. the test and tune I went to. Thanks. But I still ran faster at MIR (Probably due to the weather) and MIR has better facilities. I.e. suites you can sit in the tower and watch to stay out the cold, nicer bathrooms, food available, etc etc

 

Ahmad, from what others reported and said about MIR last week, the air was much better at MIR.
For the March rental we should have some of that MIR air with the ATCO track prep.
