no hard launch , no dyno mode either . We also had some bogging and i am wondering if its due to the sticky tires ? next time out im throwing the ps2's back on for a few runs .

 

Hey Juice if i came in at 12.824 @ 111.07MPH what would be the converted time??
it was 59 degrees outside.
And tires keep spinning on 19 inch rims.

You are right Mo. Regardless of the heat the car just seemed to be dead slow. We had an exhaust camshaft issue and I had to have the engine re-learn the position of them. SDS did it quickly but I don't know why that happened.

Did have a TTM GTR go low 11(2.2 60' too)(got tossed for no cage or fire suit) and a TTM E55 go 11.6 in that oppressive heat. I ended up looking like a lobster face!

I was driving the E on the way down and had a couple of high speed pulls with the GTR and the E held its own(to a certain degree)

The GTR would have been in the 10's if we didn't get tossed. They offered us 1/8 mile runs!

We will never go back to Cecil County. Even the local inbreds said "that Cecil Country track is one hillbilly, hoopty track!"

Overall a VERY DISAPPOINTING day at the track. The ride to and from the track was a different story though!

 

You know I had some bogging too? Im running M/T DRs. I was thinking about running on my stockers next time. Why do you think it bogs down at the launch?

 

My guess would be the revs aren't high enough off the line

 

I 2nd that , I have had a bogging when Car is shifting from 2nd to 3rd Only happened @ the track on first passes , maybe car was still a lil cold ???

Holy Smokes, this car is a monster. Congratulations Keith, it has been great watching you and your car progress to the t o p. I am showing an 11.04 standing as ET record but the trap speed has been eclipsed in both the 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile. This makes the C63 the current record holder amongst all 63 cars.

 

Update on my time stock i ran a 12.6@112mph

tuned with car graphic exhaust i went 12.0@121mph with 92mph half track

whats interesting is my self and another c63 here in aus have ran similar times and are both picking up almost 30mph in the bavk end of the track. Also im only making 408rwhp on a dyno dynamics

 

if you dont mind me asking what's your TQ numbers on Dyno dynamic, i did mine on DD and go 433rw and 462rwtq.

So does this mean that DadsC63 is the only VERIFIED 63 into the 10s??? I know jrcart said he ran 10s a few times already but it has not been verified yet.... I remember reading that he won't verify it or post anything about it until he beats the overall Mercedes record, which will be very soon I think.

I had 2 busted motor mounts and once we swapped em out i noticed a noise during hard acceleration in first and 2nd .
