2008 CLK63 Black Series 2012 C63 Black Series 2014 SLS Black Series
Just curious, how does this 63 list stack up against the 55 list, say top 12-15 off each list? I always knew I could get my 63 competitive with the top 55's but I figured it would take a lot more $$$ and a lot more mods. The entire Top 10 on the yet to be updated 63 list is running 11's. Now we have seen a couple guys with C63's go mid 11's with minimal mods, 11.5 (ECU and Airbox) and 11.6(shorties, ECU) and a Black Series go 11.7 with only an ECU tune. To me that is more impressive and quicker than any 55 with ECU only. What is everyone elses take on this? I would especially like to hear from Jangy on this topic.

Comon guys at least PM me the splits or post up on dragtimes so I can copy em. Or paste em in this thread. Rick you gotta have a handful of slips and Mo I need yours, also I will just pull Keiths off Dragtimes, since there is a video of the pass posted on the site.

Experienced drivers LOL!!! Experience means squat in an MB...A monkey could rip off consistant 60's and e/t's in my car. You saw for yourself, I am laying down consistant 1.66-1.68 60's on the MT's now...I hot lapped 5 times in a row and here is what my 60's looked like 1.681, 1.661, 1.686, 1.667 and 1.680. On the Corsas I laid down 4 back to back 60's that were within 9/1000ths of a second 1.797-1.806, I can lay down 1.80's on the Corsas all day ...sorry but the only advantage any driver will have over me or any one else is maybe weight, I weigh just over 200 pounds. Anyone with two feet can launch one of these things well.

Very nice. Tens ever so close, great job Evosport getting the voltage prob fixed and getting the car back on pace.

New ET record is 11.049
New Trap record is 129.85

1/8th mile trap 100.88
1/8th ET 7.076

New 60ft record 1.612

I'm confussed about this comment, I am looking at a very old list that shows CLS63 ran an 11.844 about 5 months ago? How can RARFINANCIAL be the first CLS in the 11's?

Yep the CLS took a long time to get into the 11's it still barely made it.

Rick hit numerous 12.0x@118.x but could not get the 60 ft down enough to hit 11's until the last event 1/17/09. He has since crushed the CLS 63 NOS record, I do not have the slip yet so cant post exact but he hit 11.6x@122-123?


Hopefully the ASR car will get back out and get the record back.

Rick is shooting for low 11's adding some more mods, wheels etc and has mastered the tree so look for the record to continue to change.


I have yet to have the stars align correctly to hit 11's , the CLS needs alot of help, it is a 12.70's car so knocking a second off that is dam good, congrats RICK!

Nice times, as this done on the stock Corsas? Looks like you just took over the number 12 spot on the list, congrats. I noticed your 60 foot times were 1.9's, the Corsas should be good for consistant 1.75-1.80's with decent track prep, that alone would put you solidly into the 11's.

Yeah, the Corsa's may be good for that but I'm not there just yet. Let's call it operator error.
I was disappointed in the low traps but maybe on a 50 degree night ....
1,400 DA at Ennis is a pretty good, it seems to be 2,200+ more often than not.

You should air the rears down to 22psi and do a brake stall type lauch at about 2000-2100rpm and then go from there. Also make sure you drive around the water box and not through it, your front tires pick up that water and put down small amounts of water right in your groove. You do not need to do a water burn-out with the Corsa's, they actually seem to like it better with no water...but still do at least a 4-5 second burn-out to get them clean and nice and sticky. Believe me, there is not much skill involved with making these things run fast and consistant, just pay close attention to your launch RPM and when you find the right launch RPM you will know it and just keep it in your head and do it again the next time up. You might even want to keep a log of which RPM launch resulted in what 60' and/or e/t, or just jot it down on the time slip at the end of your run, this will make it easy to look back and see what worked for you.

Operator omission, despite my good intentions, I left my compressor in the garage so I decided not to mess with the TP.
Agree on the TC off, I lost .059 by shifting in M but felt like it was a better run on the way down. So much for feelings.

Great job , nice to have another Black Series in the game. Please forgive me for failing to keep this list updated, I promise I will fix it. I am still awaiting some slips from my dear friend RICK..

Great runs, 1.90 60 ft times are great on the corsas, this is an r comp tire that requires 200 degree operating temp. Hard to attain that on a drag strip

ok there are quit a few e63 car that are at 11.9-12.4 s and almost all of them are running at 114-119mph . Some cars just run better then others , There are plenty of sad dragtimes for 55's as well . check dragtimes.com .

If cars are running that slow they must be running hot as hell . All these cars here on east coast that have good times and mph are running in cool climates .

me is wondering how come my time isnt showing up in that list? Is this a stock list? or? Must be...cause I have a sub 12 run on DT.
When i was stock I was running low middle 12's but obviously my best time is a modded run.
