Hi Teflonman... Thanks for taking the time to respond. I did see the part about the tire pressure, was thinking 24lbs was a bit low, don't want to spin them on the rims, but will try it. Noticed they were not spinning on launch at 41lbs, so thought the higher pressure would be ok, and actually help overall gearing. My brother in law with the E55 rane the same pressure as I did, and did a 12.413... I would'nt think it would make that big of a difference, but will try it. Also like the idea of manually putting it down into 1st (while in S-mode).
I'll try some runs next time I am at the track (April 9th) with traction control on & off. I'll also have the dealer re-flash the ECU as well. For some reason my 'fly by wire' feels really slow at part throttle from a stop when compared to my old E55. Heck, that may be an issue too. I am told it will show a fault, but not sure about that.. Anyone else experiencing what I'd call a 'dull' throttle?
Thanks again guy's for all the kind words & thoughts...

And about the tire psi , If u are hooking with 41 leave it be . LOwering tire psi will result in less MPH. try first as is and if u see wheel spin is a issue start backing out a few psi each pass till good .

All my best 60 ft times came from very very light pre-load, 800 rpm-1100.
The key in my opinion is getting your foot off the brake , barely hold the car at the line.
I usually stop just after 2nd light flickers so I have some room to roll w/o red lighting.
a 2.0 60 ft is decent on street tires but I would of liked to see a slightly higher trap.
A goal for your car would be 12.6-12.7 @ 111-112. stock. Please also weight your car so we have an idea, the performance packaged , panorama cars are whales.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I wasn't sure if my Powerwheels Pro replica wheels & BFG-DRs would get here this week to make it to Bradenton for some 1/4-mile action, so I signed up for some cone action. Should be interesting.

Well it looks like rain tomorrow,
so the cone killings might get washed out. Decided to run down to Bradenton to see what I could do. Heard it can get busy on Saturday but I got there early and got a few runs in. She did as expected I guess for bone stock & 46K miles. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Temp = 77.0 deg f
Corrected barometer = 30.03 Hg
Relative humidity = 43 %
Dew point = 53.1 deg f
Grains = 59.246118
Density Altitude = 1504.08 ft

Head-to-head, my 96 Impala would have jumped out to an early lead at the 60' with a 1.788 (+ .153), but the Benz is coming by the 1/8 with the Impy muscling out an 8.076 (+ .107). But at the finish, although it would have been close, my best time in the Impy is 12.651 (- .045)

Helluva a light you cut.
That is a great time an trap in those conditions.
If both cars left at exactly the same time end result is the Benz wins by 4.5 inches, lol
Lemme do the math

The C63,
This car has arrived. Great pass, excellent 60 ft time for a 63.
Dodger has the same tune and mods, did he run a different tire?
Did you guys weight your cars? Is Mr. Dodger lighter than you?
You guys need to push Keith into the 10's , that would be unreal.
I am very proud of your improvements and enthusiasm.
Thanks for the slip , C63's splattering the top of the list.
Maybe someone will throw a 125 shot mid track and take aim at sub 11?
Maybe you guys can get there all motor?
AMAZING

I'm samething with no airbox and foamfilter.
His a lil heavier then me but his car was driven by a ligher person.both our cars came in at 3910 with no one in the car and no spear.
Ps I'm sure if Dadc63 came out to MIR in the winter he would touch 10's in his car. I'm begining to think if I have -1500 DA or greater and a 100oct tune and stall conv I can get her into the low low 11's
Hey time will tell

How were 60 ft times? Car shoulda hella launched on your set up.
Was it hot out or was prep bad? I would expect your car sub 12 with the CCW's

Temps were 75-80 and 60's were 1.88 -1.86 consistant .
only pulled 5 runs . no race fuel splash all 93 .

car will hit 118 and run 11.90's with exact same 60 ft times in 60 degrees.
Next time add some 100 to your 93 1:2 ratio. this will give a 95 which prolly is closer to a true 93 rating. Your tune for 93 should work well in this scenario. Keep the CCW rears try and get smaller upfront less rolling resistance .
did you guys launch off idle and are you running in dyno?
